@mtlheadx LMAO its not metalcore... their own record label said that when they dropped Shadows are Security that metalcore was just starting to get big and they wanted to steer clear of it becuz they didnt want to be associated with it. record label guy goes on to say they are metal and metal only... As I Lay Dying calls themselves metal. its all on their DVD documentary

dude shadows are security is the quintessential metalcore album.,,,,,,,,,,, to say anything else is just ignorant. the newest album is more of a thrash album but it still has metalcore elements in it. They may "call" themselves just metal but the listener can easily pick up the metalcore elements.
