Hi, I followed your steps here but i did not realise it is for an XP, I have a vista!!! and now my laptop wont start after the logo screen it is stuck and it says "please wait..." please help me!!!! what can i do???

LoL u are actually life saver. cuz i just bought new data and it was vista. And every time i downloaded things like 20mb it toked 1GIG. damn i was afraid that i bought newbie pc. But when i did that i saved 40gb :)

If I remember correctly, there is a another simpler way not requiring cmd.

That is in XP, in Vista, you can't change the system restore point usage with Control Panel.
