The funny thing about these commercials is that NET10's network runs on BOTH att and Verizon towers making it one of the most reliable carriers on the planet. I switched to NET10 from Verizon a few months ago and could not be happier. Never have any of my calls dropped and I get unlimited EVERYTHING for 50 bucks a month. Get NET10 and you can't go wrong.

Now I'm back on AT&T (not my choice) and I've had 3G maybe like 4 times and constant dropped calls. I don't want to hear this "AT&T is better" argument, because they're not, in any way. Everyone else is moving on to 4G, while AT&T can get 3G down. They're pathetic, and when the iPhone expands to different carriers, AT&T will fall.

@Jarhead1407 AT&T can't get 3G down? AT&T 3g uses an HSPA network for 3G. Verizon uses EV-DO for 3G data. HSPA is MUCH faster than EV-DO. It's true that Verizon covers more area with 3G(mostly areas with very low population) but in places where AT&T does have 3G coverage(which is where the majority of the population is) it's MUCH faster. I get 3mbps on AT&T 3G in the San Fransisco Bay Area, Los Angles area, Las Vegas and NYC. Those speeds simply aren't possible on Verizon's 3G network.

Check the facts. Verizon is often rated as the worst carrier and never come close to beating At&T is honest bad customer surveys. In Consumer reports they were rated in all categories as the worst and oversea. Verizon might have a lot of customers, but.... I don't think that will last very long. Verizon are ok in major cities.... that's about it.

By the way, that red map is fake not normal cell phone coverage. They're trying to mislead you without being liable for actually lying.

I have the iPhone 3Gs and I just drove from California to New York. at&t does have an ok 3G network but it is very limited and I know from experience that it's 3G network in New York City is slow. Probably due to heavy usage. But driving cross country I hardly seen 3G at all on my iPhone. My Mom has the droid with Verizon..and I must say that Verizons EVDO or 3G did work decent and it loaded pages faster than my iPhone when it was on 3G..and my iPhone has been dropping calls like crazy!
