@skatercrust Nope. From what I hear the save system is exactly the same, except for three different slots instead of one. It was originally intended to be that way to keep giving the player a sense of dread. A locked restroom stall would be the perfect way to keep zombies out. It was supposed to be at realistic as it could while maintaining the comedy.

@JustPhilbert well in the first one you could beat the game without ever leaving willamette. this one seems to occur immediately after the first one so it makes since that even if Frank escaped he wouldn't be randomly involved somewhere else he would probably be with the agents trying to stop it

I believe Gameinformer said it was 1-3 years. Don't remember how many years after. But apparently the plot is that zombie attacks happen at random times, in random places. And this happens to be on of the stories.
