I really wish Clarkson would lay off the America hating already. Everything he does, whether it be on Top Gear or one of his many specials like this one, always swings back around to how much he hates America. It seems to be an unhealthy obsession with him. Europe is fantastic and all, but it's a CONTINENT with many, many countries and cultures to accompany it. America is a COUNTRY, and a young one at that. How can you compare them without it being lopsided?

I think it's Jeremy's jealousy of America deep within his mind, that America is so big and successful in many areas, and is basically a 'super power' today, whereas the UK is not, and only pales in comparison to what "Great Britain" used to be just a couple hundred years ago.

Hmm if I am honest I am happy here in Canada. It is peaceful here, at least from my perspective, and I was complaining about how expensive things are here in North America, right up until they charged me 3pounds and a bit for a bottle of water that costs around 2 dollars. Europe fascinates me. But would I live there? I have my doubts. And that isn't meant to offend anyone. Being proud of where you are from is important. I am proud to be North American/Indian.

got to say i've travelled to every continent and many countries, but i have to say that europe is without the most diverse and enjoyable continent of them all. i will live in france or northern spain without a doubt.

the US is a great country with incredible scenery and things to do, but it just lacks the depth of history and culture that europe offers.
