Hi, how is the story of heretic and Hexen? it follows the first heretic? Hexen and then? heresiarch and korax so appear in Hexen right?

@edibrehsa The next serpent rider (Korax) is the last boss of Hexen, and the third and final serpent rider (Eidolon) is the final boss of Hexen II.

Heretic II has an independent plot, nothing to do with the serpent riders.

Anyone remembers a custom level with a bunch of D'Sparils? I remember playing it about 10 years ago but then I lost it and never found it again. The thing was almost impossible to beat, wish I could try again though

@TendaMonsta I think it's time ID redid the sprites in Doom , Wolfenstein, Heretic, and Hexen. Imagine those games with redrawn HD textures and sprites, smae game, but everything looks prettier... also they could redo teh midi tracks as RSE tracks to keep the midi feel but get better sound quality.

@samirgeagea12 That's actually the second hardest. The hardest level is "Black plague possesses thee". It's the equivalent of "NIGHTMARE!!" from Doom in which all monsters are on crack and will respawn.

I never used codes to beat them until it came to this and hexen.....but hexen is really hard.

Doom i use codes for now but i beat the first 2. And the crappy GBA version of doom which just killed it for me.

It literally, dumped all the good levels, and kept all the boring long levels which i had to replay!

Doom was great, but I think Heretic kicks its ass, esp since it was a doom that better incorperated up/down aiming.

heretic does kick doom's ass but in heretic's version of doom's nightmare, the monsters dont come back they just hit harder and faster, but heretic brings back some great memories too bad that heretic was not made compatible with windows xp, if it was, then we wouldnt have to use source ports.
