It's funny but reflects the way that women were treated at that time. I grew up in the 60's in a little country town in NSW. In my experience girls were not expected to have an opinion, or disagree with adults, particularly men. In our home we were exposed to comments like "Women's brains are smaller and lighter than men's, therefore they aren't as intelligent". It was a stifling way to live.

Oddly enough, the only REASON people haven't gotten angry and violent against feminists was because... they are "only female." Any other group of people, black, whites/ etc would've been involved in a war.

Second, when you hit your spouse because you believe they are your property, it's an act of control and power and thus discriminatory. Third, there is nothing wrong with being a lesbian.

Devaluation would enrich exporters but that would come at a cost of impoverishing everybody else because people would now have to pay more for imports and domestically produced goods would go to exports. Also, the gold standard prevents large expansions of credit/debt that, according to the austrian theory of the business cycle, cause recessions. I wonder if the creators of the video had this in mind because then it has a whole new meaning.

@bitethis47 Actually, from what I've seen, women talk about more serious issues than men, who have their own kind of gossip about pointless stuff. Different pointless stuff though. But nobody's going to have the same experience. It depends on the people, I guess. We shouldn't group everyone together into these categories. I'm female, and I and most of my friends definitely don't match your description. Shallow gossip is often hideously tedious.

There was a survey on what men and women prioritized and for men, Sky Sports was in the top three, whereas women had put "gas bills". Both genders are capable of discussing all kinds of topics. But I guess so what if either gender wants to talk about something happier? Not just women, serious topics make everyone less happy. Global warming isn't exactly happy fun time. But we still care much more about it.
