It does remind me of "Addiction" and "Martin", but at least it's a vampire movie that tries to tackle a question not usually explained - What is it that creates a vampire. It seems to have a story - something that the "Transformers" and Attention Deficit generation won't like, but hopefully it's a sign of movies becoming good again. Especially horror movies...

Looks well-made. Glad to see it's not a cheezy glam/goth take on vampires. That said, it doesn't look interesting (to me). Noone I've shown the trailer to has batted an eye. Hard to judge anything by a trailer but seems more like a slow-burn relationship/crime drama than a "horror" film. There's just no "boogie man" evident in the trailer which is surprising considering the Blair Witch folks involved. Try the trailer for 'Let Me In' instead. Instant creep and mystery and good reviews.

This doesn't seem to have the feel of Let the Right One In at all. Whoever said that is either lying to promote the film or simply thinks too highly of their own work. To put this film anywhere near the level of the other is an insult to the work.

Well, first off let me say that I hate vampire movies. Very few have ever entertained me and with the recent "glampire" trend I've become less and less interested. I will say, however, that this flick seems like it'll be a lot of fun. It looks like it'll be more along the lines of the vampire flicks I actually enjoy and I look forward to seeing it.

Reminds me of Romero's Martin in some way. However, you seem to go a bit further in the evolutionary process. You should have a "pay-for-streaming" option while you look for distribution. I think it would be cheaper for you and those who have Paypal or credit card could start watching Midnight Son and leaving feedback on various forums right now.
