  • How do you get this?

  • i still dont understand how this works... very confusing

  • @101arazmataz hi! merry happy! i set up two cameras, on video and one still. i walked by with a couple of lights. it took about 10 seconds, so the still camera was set for a 10 second exposure. the video was processed with an effect called echo, part of the adobe aftereffects effects. it basically leaves trails behind the lights which is sort of like the long exposure with the still camera. because the video was rather low quality compared to the still photo, i blended the video into the still.

  • @101arazmataz so the end shot is the still photo that is high-resolution. let me know if you need anymore hints!

  • Cool!!!

  • i understand the concept. but how do you get it so yourself doesnt glow in the light you are shining?

  • i envy your awesomeness ^^

  • I have a Nikon D90, but no real editing software other than photoshop 1 and iMovie. would I be able to do this type of video/light video? how do I make one? thanks.

You kind of expect Esther Williams jumping into the pool as the bathing light beauty. Lovely, John. Hope you and Rachel have a great weekend and temperatures that allow to keep cool at the pool. Here you have to take the leaves out of the pools.
