  • I'm from outside the rez in the east coast and trying o teach myself Navajo and this is a good place to start and heck it's catchy and I have my dog along awesome!!!!

  • Lol! I learned this from my sister who at the time went to school @ dennehotso boarding school while I stayed with grandma herding sheep cuz I was still too young to go to school. I remember seeing the blue van on Fridays to drop her off.hahaha.

  • @hopichick13 Dialects Athabaskan-it's so funny when both Fluent speaking Navajo and Apache come together they sound like the other tribe is speaking broken of theirs.(like hearing someone speaking broken English) A lot of the word meanings have been switched around. And plurals have been switched around too. It's pretty funny.

  • One of the first songs I remember learning at BIA's Indian Club. I still remember it to this day! But just noticed the difference that you said his stomach is round.... while I remember the lyrics as 'he eats too much and he drags his stomach' (translate that in Navajo). Cute song, need to have my kids learn that too. Thanks for making it simple.
