  • 0:40 Cute little boy.

  • This isn't what I wanted to watch... I was looking for the LAMB OF GOD song :S

  • nike invented gmail.

  • The doctor keep his patient's in Gmail?

  • As long as he doesn't keep the medical records there's not really a problem.

  • I disagree.

If the patients don't explicitly allow the doctor to keep their name/address in Gmail is a violation of privacy, and he is liable in case something happen.

I want my doctor to be a good doctor and not to worry about anything else.

He makes very good money and he can afford all the professional tools needed for his address book.

Tools built for doctors that guarantee privacy.

A doctor that uses Gmail for his patients lists needs to be dumped right away.

  • Fair enough. Realistically that isn't related specifically to his occupation however. If that line of reasoning (and I'm not saying you're wrong, however I disagree) were followed to the letter, a person following that approach would need to refuse to communicate with any person utilizing a web email service providing serverside contact management. I can safely say without looking that well over half the worlds email addresses fit into this category

  • Perhaps half is just about right.

However, keep in mind that when you go to the doctor you have the choice to fill in your email address. I never do.

But when you do, you are implicitly authorizing the doctor to contact you via email.

I am assuming that the doctor here is keeping his patients name and address in Gmail regardless whether they've authorized him to do so, and that is not acceptable.

    ...

  • ...

In fact, is it not acceptable that a doctor keeps is patient's data in the same PC connected to the Internet.

Too often doctors are clueless about Internet security and data are leaked out by the latest spyware.

In some hospitals the Internet network is separate from the internal network (separate PC's) in order to avoid this kind of problems.

  • I think our views on this subject comes from the fact that I don't view my medical history as something I have a need or desire to hide.

To better explain my point, I had a hernia (spelling?) operation when I was a baby, pnemonia / pleuresy a few years ago. And just finished recovering from having my wisdom teeth pulled.

I know most of you don't care and I appologize to the offfended.

The fact remains that I was hundreds of times more revealing than google. And still you know nothing

  • As for contact informatoon, the only people who see that (or anything else in gmail aside from the account holder) is google, if they get the itch, and happen to choose that account out of millions (billions?)

  • Well, if you like to share you medical experience to the world, it is after all your choice and your right to do so if you wish.

On the Net there are tons of forums with stories like yours that can help others, kudos to you if you do.

Unfortunately doctors and secretaries are clueless about computers, I've repaired doctor's computers infected by spyware. The secretary thought it was cute to install the latest screensaver and the useful toolbar received in a spam email.

Do I want my medical history, my SSN, phone and address in that PC?

Of course not. Doctors knows human body very well. As for computers, well, that's another story.

  • I dream of better spam protection. I get about 7000 spam messages per month, and unfortunately I have marked various messages and senders as spam and at times the spam messages still get through....if anyone knows of an external spam filter I can use with gmail I would be so grateful..

  • You must watch a lot of porn online. Not sure how otherwise you'd get so much spam.

  • Nope, I don't watch any porn....I wish I was the only person who had this problem....most spammers seems to target gmail because of the sheer number of users..

  • I have Gmail and I like Gmail better.

  • I use both Yahoo and Gmail, but Gmail is much better then Yahoo mail with advanced spam protection.

  • Our Clearwire switched over to Gmail too, and it sucks. We are actually leaving Clearwire because of this.

  • What??!! Why do you think Gmail sucks?

  • You know what, let's just lay it down clearly: GMail IS the best e-mail service (paid or free) in the world, but the editing of this video is not nearly as good as GMail. Poor video editing!

  • happy to see lots of you people playing here gmail is the best thing happening in intenert

  • im happy to see the are people that need to be friends with others no matter what the distance or time keeping them apart

  • :-)

  • I get about 5 spam messages every hour. Now my search doesn't even work for some reason. Way to go Gmail. You evil guys behind the scene will most likely delete this message too.

  • that's great!

  • i love gmail :D

  • As much as I hate advertising for ANYTHING I have to say that gmail is by far the superior free email out there. They are 100% correct about no spam. Hotmail sucks : )

  • thecritic:

then you turned your G-mail spam filter off, b'cuz so far it's blocked every spam message from getting to my inbox...

  • it block mine almost 99% of it..

did ya subscribe to all those spam?

    must be then.. LOLz

  • I ♥ gmail!!

  • what up with the little kids?

    still like it.

the 3-year-old son story is touching.

  • How the heck do you record and edit original songs with gmail?

  • haha yea thats a little over the top

  • guy at 0:23 is extreme greasy, like pizza and french fries

  • Love GMail!! Works like a charm on spam it never EVER lets spam in my inbox!! Go GMail!

  • Gmail is fucking awesome. It's simple, easy to use, and has a few helpful features.

  • Did you know that Google keeps all your emails even after you delete them from your account? They archive the information and it is accessable by law enforcement and governments without a warrant under the Patriot Act? Think twice about storing your data offsite. It's a scary world and Corporate American runs it.

  • Why would I think twice, I'm not a terriost and if the FBI wants to look at my email for national security reasons...well let them because there's nothing incriminating there.

  • yea...but don't all email sites do that?

And Kasunk18, you're stupid. Some people send very personal emails to each other that they don't want viewed by anyone but the other person. I guess you don't have secrets or things you don't want others to find out. Good for you. Now STFU.

  • It's called advertising dipshit

  • we loving google

  • GMail is the shit. There is virtually never any spam messages in my in box. And, I use it to store everything. Hotmail & Yahoo suck. Every time I check my Yahoo Mail account, there are literally over a thousand pieces of SPAM in my in-box.

  • if you use gmail dont bother using a hard password because its so vulnerable it dosent even matter you will get hacked and lose everything

  • My experience with G-Mail is that it ia a Bunch of losers that try to use G-Mail to scam people... either it be by fake lottery's or it be an attempt to "buy" your goods through various unsafe ways (CoD, money orders and other un verifiable way)... It sucks... periodx3

    G-Mail stands for GayMail...

  • It's a DAMN e-mail service. It's not a life-changing experience using g-mail. Please, spare me the BS.

I use gmail everyday and don't even think twice about it. Who the hell coordinates their life around an e-mail service... LOL... :-(

  • im a computer addict in lower class i have no girlfriend i live in hell you fags have you ups and downs so do i, no ones better than anyone

  • Gmail fucking OWNS! it's so reliable.

hotmail, aol, and the rest are a piece of shit

  • bull dude u get spammed

  • shut up

  • I love gmail..it rocks...you get absolutely NO SPAM. But the down side is that theres no folders, but you can "star" emails. The IM thing is AWESOME!

  • Umm labels is basically folders

  • How do u work the IM device?

  • you hold your mouse over the person you want to chat with and clic "chat", and its pretty easy from there on

  • Why you think so ? Please help me know the truth.
