It's funny they run their mouth about beating other teams and yada yada ya. The fact is, we beat you. I'll repeat that. We beat you. The Patriots can talk about all this, that, & the other. The fact is, the Giants beat them. That's the deal. We beat you. Simple as that. We beat you.
The Patriots didn't win the superbowl so they have no reason to talk. We won our title. You'll just be remembered as "that one team" that beat App during the season (Besides Wofford). No trash to you in future or past years...but this year you were irrelevant.
I would say that ending a home winning streat of 30 games does not make us irrelevant. Certainly would rather have beaten Michigan and won a title.....but Ending a 5 year (?) streak is not irrelevant.

GSU proves App State is a total fluke. This game showed them for what they really were a two man team/Edwards-Jackson speed show with no defense to speak of.
Appalachian State is the Toronto Bluejays of the early 90's. Two championships, but a drop in the bucket, and certainly not comparable to the Yankees.
Actually our whole offense is strong, our defense is what hurts us. Armanti, Coco, Dexter, Hans, Kevin, our offense is stacked but our defense is simply not championship caliber.
