Use some common sense; the "shadow" is there BEFORE the plane even is! And it remains there after the chemtrail dissipates as well.

I could see if the black beam/line was always behind the plane, but since it's proven to be actually in front of the plane, it's much more advanced than it looks.

There is an explanation and i do claim to know it,it is the contrail's shadow.It is not in front of the airplane but reaching to the ground.Next time you see this,look at where the sun is and if you still don't see it then there's nothing i can say to convince you other wise.

@CaptRH If you read the comments since the video was uploaded, this conversation has been had multiple times with different people.

A Google search will show the lines when the sun is BEHIND the chemtrail. They are not where a shadow would be. I highly doubt that a little more than a hundred people know exactly what is occurring and why.

@justeroniehh You need to do a little science experiment in your house right now.

1. Get a flashlight (the sun)

2. Get a pencil (the chemtrail line from the airplane)

3. Shine the light from above down on the pencil, then move the light toward the eraser end.

4. Notice the shadow move "ahead" of the plane? That's what's going on here.. the shadow is hitting chemtrail particulates below, but because the sun is to the left of the plane- it cast the shadow to the right.

@sanluisskywatch This would be a good explanation.. except that the black line extends much too far in front of the plane. The most I have seen a black line two minutes before I even saw the plane.

And your "science experiment" has one major flaw: the shadow is not floating in midair, but on the ground (or whatever's closer)

I have personally never seen a chemtrail cast a shadow on the ground, even when the sun was high in the sky and the chemtrail at zenith, there was no ground shadow.

I videotaped one like this yesterday. if it were radio controlled, the black line would disappear, but it remains after the plane has passed.

what i saw yesterday is that the black line spreads wider and moved a little to the left from the white trail. one minute later another plane flew over the black path making a 2nd trail right next to the first one

I have seen same thing in Poland, but the line was solid black. The line was from horizon to horizon. Like if someone draw a line with a pencil.

I think you have a Ufo at :24- :26! It's darker then the clouds and very large... slightly above, and in front of the black line, moving towards the plane.

Thank you so much for posting this!! I freaked out the other day because I saw this exact same thing in Mansfield, Ohio 09-02-10. I've never seen anything like it. It was a plane flying in an arch-like manner into the black beam. Crazy! Does anyone know what this is or why it happens?

I have seen this black line too, I don't remember if the plane was making a chemtrail or a normal contrail as at the time I didn't know about chemtrails.

i believe in chemtrails but these black lines for the most part are shadows of the trail itself on the ionosphere.

I think it is being projected downward from a satellite. These chemtrail planes could be autopiloted via satellites. If no one is pioleting then it would explain the crazy routs they run. My favorite is the one where you are sure they are going to collied yet just miss and leave a huge X in the sky. It is so obvious yet i cant get anything from my congressman or senators.

I've seen these chemtrailing planes with the black line preceding the plane. I've seen them with the sun forward of the plane, so it can't be a shadow.

Perhaps chemtrails are a conductive plasma acting as a giant wave guide for HAARP.

The black line could be some unexplained atmospheric effect. Perhaps it's an electrical mirror image in the space of the conductive plasma trailing the plane.

It's definitely not a shadow.

Not a shadow in my opinion. The only one I've seen involved a chemtrail that stopped half way across the sky, then a black beam or line extended from near that point and disappeared beyond the horizon.

Saw this over Brighton beach the other day. Plane seemed to have a dark line out infront of it. No way it was a shadow. The other odd thing was that the plane didn't appear to be following the exact same path as the dark line, deviated somewhat from it.

I hate all these conspiracy theories but thus far haven't had any satisfactory explanations

yeah ok so i was driving from stockton to sacramento (north) and I was looking at this big patch of clouds... then, while focusing on the road, i noticed two black lines stretching from the clouds to the ground, just like those black lines you see in front of jets sometimes. I thought it was just my eyes, so I asked my girlfriend sitting next to me, and she saw them too! they were two lines, with about a 15 degree angle between them (ie they were not parallel) it was weeeird.

IT appears to be a shadow from the sun. I have seen this effect during many trail watches. The trails are dense enough to cause shadows. Wait until you see one pass in front of the sun and you will see how the shadow changes position. Nice video!...keep looking up there!!
