Fr33dom is correct. 20 seconds after liftoff you're supposed to shut the burners down... and once Mach 1.7 is reached the burners should be shut down.

on flight sim 2004 I can get the concord to appear on the runway but I can not controle it or even see the cockpit, how do you fly it if you can not see the controles.

Concorde was permitted to fly supersonic over land while enroute to Toronto and also a number of other locations including Russia and Asia for special events. The reheats were also used to begin the acceleration and climb to Mach1.70. And Concorde also landed at a much faster speed then other Commercial aircraft. Finally, I dont think he was posting a flight tutorial, but rather a video for us to watch and enjoy. Nice Video

first , you should learn to pilot concorde.. afterburners have to be shut down after take off.. plus, no supersonic flight is allowed over land.. oh and this is NOT a game, as you said earlier, it is a simulation.. oh and that landing was a real joke.. way too fast touching, then you pitched up after wheels touched down.. LOL

Have to comment about this. Never forget when I and a friend saw a Concord in Elephant & Castle, London. Was so close above us that we saw the wheels - god it was loud!
