Not to be rude or anything, but if you look closely in the pre-match hype promo for Booker and Triple H at that show, you can see the WWE BG was introduced before WrestleMania. The WCW version is in the promo too, but that's why I said "if you look closely".

I hate to see that the World Heavyweight Championship has became a Joke in the WWE. With wrestlers like Dusty Rhodes, Harley Race, Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, and so on having held the belt at one point in time or another to now having a guy named Daniel Bryan having it. Granted I don't watch much wrestling as I use to and I'm to familiar with alot of these guys, but come on.

@zombee1979 the alliance version, those are clear coated so finger prints don't stick on them and they don't get discoloured but the 1999 ones do. They are coming along but it's a delicate process, debuting Summer 2012

The big gold always had a (VERY) slight curve. When the dual plated ric flair big gold debuted it had the slight curve, this belt was used from it's debut all the way up to the start of 2001, when Scott steiner was champ he switched that big gold (the one with the famous bend in the top of it) out with the all gold version of the big gold he owned, which was later used in the WCW invasion and as the World title given to HHH, this belt had a far more distinctive curve that the ric flair one

@barbarash A lot of wrestlers who won the world title in wcw were either given or were offered (for sale) (not sure which) an all gold cast of the real belt, Sting, DDP, Hogan all have one, and i'm sure others do. Steiner switched it because the flair one was in bad shape, WCW was so chaotic, I doubt anyone noticed the switch. He can't claim a belt that he offered on tv as a "company belt" especially after he technically stole the real one from the company

@donn409 no, myth. The NWA dombed globe was dumbed the 10lbs of gold and it weighed no where near that. My real big gold only weights about 6+, My TNA re-leathered replica probably weights near 10 I'd imagine though

I've heard that Hunter has it as it was given to him as a gift by Flair. But I've also heard that Scott Steiner stole it from wcw and still has it.
