no sorry the meaning of this old post was that if you are at depth from while diving with my friend he was ill and was sick in his reg. origionaly he was told by his instructor that this was no big deal and the reg could handle this but trust me this is not the case.

@blisterj My instructor told me to barf in my reg because it will forced out the reg. After you barf your instinct is to breath in, and If you don't have the reg in your mouth when that happens you could panic and drown. I was taught this by SSI.
