  • Had the 45 in 1982. At the time I lived in the same town on Long Island as where Jack Kerouck was born, my first aparment. Glory days remember when we were all invincible and foolish? The dance clubs Danceteria, Peppermint Lounge, Irving Plaza, BONDS!!!!!

  • Charlie Higson..still love you after all these years

you made 81 ,82 the best years driving in my car listening to this over and over

    where did you go?

  • Playing a record is like making love to a beautiful woman. First you let her prise open the lid of your long player, then you find her hole with your finger and gently slip her onto the deck. After checking for fluff you carefully introduce your needle into her groove and send her into a spin. She might be 33, 45 or 78, the technique is the same. And if you're feeling adventurous you can flip her over and try her B-side.

  • @MisterSimnock Thanks swiss

  • @MisterSimnock MINT!!! :D

  • @MisterSimnock You took that a little to far.

  • This or 'Where have all the club-a-go-gos went went' was their best.

  • blimey, Charlie Higson, who would of thought, amazing singer.

  • fractured my elbow and dislocated my shoulder after diving into a ( very thin) mosh pit off stage at chelsea college or uni or summat during one of their gigs circa 1980 (ish)

Loved the band, and along with Blue rondo a la turk, they made up a stable diet of gigs for me and my mates in that era !!

i still get pain in my elbow !!
