I just got dual monitors....both are 1920x1080 resolution. If I want 1 wallpaper to display on both monitors....what what should the resolution of the wallpaper be? Can anyone help me with this?

@dhide14 You've probably figured this out by now but incase you haven't, just add the width of the two monitors together. The height doesnt matter unless you plan on stacking the 2nd monitor ontop of the first. In your case you want, 3840 x 1080

Display Fusion Pro is also good.

But then again, you don't need the pro to manage two wallpapers. Pro is just for another taskbar on the second/third monitor.

How do I set two wallpapers on one monitor?

I want to place two different flags on the same monitor as a wallpaper. Specificially the Gadsen (Don't Tread on Me" flag and the modern "Come and Take It" flag with a modern assault rifle.

Great idea! I picked a wallpaper and screenshotted it, Pasted it in Paint, picked another wallpaper and did the same lining up the two I wanted side by side..then Clicked "Set As Wallpaper (Tiled)" andit worked PERFECTLY!

@MegaG15 if you play it in a window and go to the menu you can drag your mouse out but not during game b/c then your aiming would be off but thats a way to do it, (i use skype on one screen so i dont have to tab out)

ok, but i go to a website, download the picture and it just shrinks it over the screens! so i see the same picture on both monitors instead of having it stretch across both.

had the same problem. it has to do with the type of desktop you set. Extended desktop will make two images and stretched desktop will of naturally stretch the image across the desktop.

@masterchief0611 well you can have it run in a window and just change how big you want it to be to fit in 1 screen or if you want it on both screens than you can just start cod4 and it should work if you have the dual display mode in game plugged in.

it should be the default setting when you connect a second monitor...

ah you want to clone the displays.

this can be a bit tricky in windows. i was able to to get it to work once, however there is no setting for this in the windows properties settings. you have to look in your graphics card driver settings. not all cards have that feature.

You can download DisplayFusion to add one image across multiple monitors or to add separate images across multiple monitors. It works in Windows 7 as well.

I have a question, I have my desktop set as 1-2 (2 being the primary and 1 being the secondary) and it works as if its set up that way, however the wallpaper displays as 2-1 and I cant figure out why it does this or how to fix it other than swapping the image around in something like ms paint but I'd rather have my comp do it on its own

right click on the desktop and select the graphics card options, if it's not there then 1. you haven't installed the driver correct (wich is not so probable since it doesn't work then) or 2. it sucks cause it doesn't have it

it basically comes down to finding or making a picture the right pixel size, and making sure your desktop background is set to "tile". Then only one tile will be big enough to fit on both monitors.

I've been running Dual monitors now for about 3 mths and could not imagine going back to a single monitor w/ all the multitasking I do as a Programmer and Designer. I have recently tried UltraMon and it allows for the second Monitor to have its own Taskbar which is very handy indeed. But if the second Taskbar is not needed then I highly recommend Chris's choice on managing dual Wallpapers. Its simple and less resources being used on your system. With Vista less resources is always good.

I remember Dual - strange as it may seem, but althouhg you never get to see the driver of the killer truck, it was in fact being driven by a turtle. Thats how it panned out in the book. The film guys though the turtle ending would ruin the film and spoil the credibility, get it bad reviews etc. The book ending has the turtle ketting kicked shitless by moustache guy
