  • My name is Lambert :D

  • last time i watched this was back in '95 wow

  • 30 years old and still know the song

  • i am fifteen years old and the wolf is still creeping me out!!! :D

  • Reminds me of a documentary I saw about a lionness whose cub had died, so she adopted an orphaned baby gazelle. Except this is the other way around... and in a different climate... with singing...

  • oh..man...! it remembers me the golden daays of my childhood...

best cartoon it is...i saw this at almost 20 years ago..

thanks puppetjam dear for uploading this in best pic/sound quality...

  • 7:26 Wait...That wolf is Goofy! xDD

  • How can this have any dislikes? I don't understand.

  • LOOOL GOOFY HOLLER

  • Acoco sent me here.

  • acoco

  • I love this cartoon!

  • They play this all over Disney World

  • You can now get this movie @ Best Buy for $14.99 it has a couple of short films on their. The title is "The Three Little Pigs". I do remember seeing this movie when I was younger.

  • I'm almost in tears. I have wanted to find this video for so long...I searched it and here it is. Bless you hahaha. This is great, thanks!

  • im english and when came to america for a holiday i saw it and fell in love <3

  • I LOVE THIS CARTOON IT'VE BEEN A TIME I DIDN'T WATCH THIS CARTOON BUT IT ALWAYS IN MY MIND AND HEART REALLY I LOVE THE STORY

  • Omygod, omygod, I loved this when I was a kid! I haven't ever seen the movie, but I had the book! SO good to see it again!

  • ...is that the same stork in Dumbo?

  • mmmm thats good eatin!

  • ahhh. touching, i love this. <3

  • lamebort the lion

  • @Lokihela your lame

  • My parents named me Lambert after this. I'm a lion.

  • @onfzd lmfao

  • I love this

  • i love this

  • Boy if only our sons who face bullying in schools today could realize the gist of this timeless tale our society would be a better place today. It doesn't matter what others say about you, Be a man, stand up and protect that which is weaker than you are.

  • Pretty sure the lamb didn't fair so well with its surrogate lion family

  • @ihearttheplanet He didn't deliver any lamp to a lion family, he just delivered Lambert wrong. The sad story is that there was a lion family that got nothing. It's a cartoon though.

  • @ihearttheplanet LOL!!!

  • So wait, if the lamb got the lion cub, then that means,,,,, uh oh.

  • @Rockman25 Yep, the stork messed up big time. I just hope the mother lion who received a lamb is a vegetarian.

  • i watched this on Mother's Day. And afterwards, i gave my mom a hug and told her i loved her lots. i adore cartoons like these

  • One of the best Disney ever came out with. This is golden.!!

  • does anyone else think the narrator sounds like winnie the pooh?

  • @thelonelion It's the same voice actor--Sterling Holloway. He's also the Cheshire Cat, The Jungle Book's Kaa the Snake, and the narrator for the unparalleled Mickey and the Beanstalk.

  • @wanabegoku cool

  • @thelonelion He was the original voice of Winnie The Pooh. It's Sterling Holloway.

  • aww too cute for my eyes

  • The wolf always scared the hell outta me growing up... until it got scared, lol. (Even Lambert going all "wild lion" on the wolf kind of freaked me...) Aside from that, this has always been one of my all time faves.

  • That´s a very cute film

  • Is the voice in the beginning the same voice on Dumbo? I don't remember...

  • @00Nicavis Yes it is. It's Sterling Holloway. In this he is the narrator and he's reprising his voive role as Mr. Stork from Dumbo. This was a decade after Dumbo. Dumbo was made in 1941 and this was made in 1951.

  • Absolute classic!! Makes me want to be a kid again..: )

  • The mom must have thought..."well it's about time" (6:25- 7:21)

  • (BONK) AHHHHHHHHHHH HOOO HOOO HOOO HOOO (7:26)

Man, the wolf looked ticked off at the end!

  • i love this so much

  • And this was a cartoon before the King Lion.

  • the wolf coming around the corner always freaked me out as a kid.

  • Gotta love the "Ya-hoo-oo-oo." Classic old-school Disney cartoons.

  • Yeah, about that, unfortunately those berries are from the toxic Illex vomitoria or the Yaupon Holly which if ingested at that amount would more than likely kill the wolf.

  • 4:56 Mufasa?

  • XD That wolf is the exact same one from "Peter and the Wolf"! Man, he gets around!

  • When the wolf appears at first the lion likes "OH MY GOD!! His teeth is almost as big as mine!! Then he's "Oh I'm gonna go WILD LION on your ass."

  • You had to have cable for this one yall!! This and Paul Bunyon! My kids are so deprived.... These were great days....

  • You had to have cable for this one yall!! This and Paul Bunyon! My kids are so deprived....

  • My childhood ^^ I have connected with it again.

  • Those are red currents. And the bloom in the summer not spring.

  • 7:09 That lion is PISSED

  • So glad I could find this! It was one of my faves from childhood that I watched over and over again!!!

  • It's the stalk from dumbo

  • always reminds me of spending the weekend at grandmas house for a weekend during the summer. brings back so many great memories :)

  • Makes me remember of the best times ... ( Childhood) :)

  • I just love when he headbut's the coyote off the cliff and the coyote howls 'AaaahooHOOhooo!' Lmao.

  • I remember this along time ago, i'm so happy that i found this again

  • I can't help but wonder what he ate...

  • @trishthestalker I can't help but wonder what happened to that poor lamb that got put with the lions...

  • Awwww.....I remember this! Thank you! Catch ya on the flip side.

  • He's so cute!!!

  • so wait, i don't remember the part added on at the end about the wolf getting berries every spring

  • my mom has told me that I use to watch this when I was a kid... I don't remember it... I wish i did.

  • 7:26 the best part!

  • Omg I've bn looking for this for decades!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Look! It's the stork from Dumbo!

  • @WarriorGinga Yes, and he is voiced by the same man, Sterling Holloway.

  • Though I haven't seen this cartoon in a while, it was on a VHS I had when I was young. 20 years later I still could quote/ sing along

  • I always thought this had more of a deeper meaning. For some, we really don't see our true selves until a crisis hits. For some, they group up for protection, others find the courage of a lion and their voice be heard, loud and clear.

  • Invisibility cloak @ 01:04

  • Surely an entire flock of rams could have intimidated ONE, SKINNY wolf, right? Don't rams tend to be more aggressive than ewes when it comes to predators?

  • its the same stork of Dumbo

  • @hejpele Yes, and he's voiced by the same man, Sterling Holloway.

  • so good

  • Meeeemories

  • Awwwwww. Lambert's adorable.

  • Winnie the Pooh voice! :D

  • i prefer the original version of this little story! ^^

  • the stork kind of sounds like winnie the pooh

  • @bebepopsr cause it is haha sterling holloway did the voice of pooh bear

  • So then a lion had sex with a lamb?

  • I think lambert was subconciously inspired by the Wizard of Oz's Cowaardly Lion. If disney did an animated movie on Wizard of oz in this time period this is what he would look like. Its a shame that in the MGM movie we got to see the scarecrow show his inner smarts and tinman show himself to be sensitive., but we shouldve got a scene like in the climax of this story where something pushes the Lion over the edge.

  • I saw this at the Paradise Pier at Disneyland over 5 times when there was nothing on TV and I would go the lobby and to that room with the fake sandcastle and the TV. I just immediately fell in love with the cartoon. <3 :)

  • Racist lambs.

  • is that the stork that delivered the wrong elephant to the circus?

  • I HeART LAMBERT

  • 7:08 Lambert evolved into LUXRAY

7:27 LUXBERT used headbutt - super effective - critical hit! Wolf fainted

    *Goofy holler*

  • @SesakaGenX I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that

  • @darkwolfgirl *textual high five*

  • @SesakaGenX *returns textual high five*

  • I forgot about this one. Lolz, I loved it.

  • Isn't that the same wolf from the Peter and the Wolf cartoon?

  • @LadyBlackdove Yes, Sterling Holloway.

  • It's the voice of the mouse on Aristocats!

  • when i first saw this i was about 5, over the years it seemed i had a werid dream. i'm now 14 and came across this while looking for some toons to watch. i now rember it wasn't a dream, which releaves me as i thought back then i was mad

  • tis the stork from Dumbo :)

  • I heard there was plans back in the 60s that this would have feature length

  • @DjZerotheoneandonly i think they did! I remember it as being much much longer. But then again maybe that's just because i'm older now. I don't know. :)

  • Goofy's voice was heard... O.o

  • Too cute! A real pleasure to watch! I hate to be a hipster, but you just don't GET 2D animation like this anymore!

  • so this is why we never hear stories about the stork anymore--because they never got their job right

  • I watched this cartoon before The Lion King in the theater, back in 94.

  • As you can see, anything born in Disney can sing.

  • I think it is the best cartoon ever

  • RAWRRRKSDFHSKJFHKSJLFHSJKFHKJFHSJKFHASHAL ..... *butts the wolf in the ass instead of eating it* (:

  • im gonna watch litterbug next.

  • I love this all time classic, whatever happened to the classic Disney narrated cartoons ? lost to a generation of cgi and neon lights. sad really.

  • What did Lambert eat while growing up? Lions can't eat grass.

  • Oh my god I havnt seen this in yeeeaarss. <3

  • at 7:26, look at the wolf.

  • I miss cartoons like this being on tv...I grew up on this stuff. I love it still.

  • This is the first time I've ever seen this. But it made me tear up :'(

  • "Poor Lambert was yellow, through and through." I take it to mean cowardly, but back then it probably meant "Asian." Oops.

  • It´s the voice of cheshire cat :)

  • HAHAHA!!! great story!! :P **and then something "snapped" in him!!!*** LOL!! :P

  • I never watched this toon, but my wife over heard it and came in singing along to it.......great toon

  • Lambert looks like Scar from Lion King, and when the wolf falls off the cliff he sounds like Goofy laughing. LOL, gotta love Disney :)

  • @Kaybug0110 yes it's the classic goofy yell made famous in the goofy sking short how to ski

  • They just don't make 'em like they used to.

  • SOO CUTE!!! lol i love lions!!

  • I remember this cartoon, I used to watch it soo many times, when I was little, had it on tape. I used to love singing along with it. still do. aaaw memories.

  • I love how the Ewe accepts the little lion even though he's different. Society could learn a lot form this cartoon :)

  • @PastaBakeMilkShake I think it was more that the sheep was desperate for a child, and was willing to go outside of the normal channels for one. Outside of her own species, even.

Maybe society shouldn't be learning it's lessons from humanized cartoon animals.

  • Walt Disney was a genius.

  • i love this lion.

  • Anything else think that Lambert looks like Prince John when he's younger? lol

  • very x2 funny =)

  • awwwwww when he said "mama" i lost it

  • what does he eat maybe the sheep

  • what does he eat

  • old cartoons about a mother's unconditional love always touch my heart then and still

  • OMG, 7:25 , the wolf is goofy in disguise!!!!

  • 6:27 "Mama!"

oh my god i don't care what you say, THAT was adorable.

  • LA-A-A-A-A-A-AMBERRRRT! I've always loved this episode! :D

  • Imagine if we heard the story of that lamb that was raised by lions!

  • @rebeldragon1 I think he'd be dead as soon as he arrived there. Poor lamb.

  • @simpsonsfreak23 not necessarily I mean look at the example of the lioness who adopted gazelles, basically the same concept.

  • @rebeldragon1 It'll begin with breakfast and end with brunch.

  • @rebeldragon1 there was a lion that adopted a gazelle once. All of the lioness' cubs had died and she found a gazelle baby in the grass and adopted it.

  • oh my god! So many memories

  • don't worry about the hungry wolf, there are berries....................every spring"

  • Where's the rest of the toon?

  • I loved this one and show it ro my son now..

  • The narrator sounds like Pooh because they were voiced by the shame actor.

Makes you wonder what happened to the lamb that the sheep were SUPPOSED to get..........did he end up with a pack of lions?

  • The narrator soundz like Kaa.

  • @roseypop1250

It is, also same guy voices Pooh

  • @roseypop1250 That's because it is. It's Sterling Holloway.

  • Wouldn't it be nice if you got to PICK your mom!!

  • I almost don't want to watch this again because it's gonna make me cry, but damn i loved this one growing up. The sheer magnitude of Lambert's take-control protective rage always inspired me as a kid, feeling very much like i grew up amongst a bunch of mean lambs...

  • So what the heck did Lambert eat?

  • I loved this one growin up :)

  • That bush has berries XD

  • Okay so the mother Sheep with the bell gets a Lion cub, so what happened to the Lamb she was originally supposed to get as her baby?

  • @TheShirogetsu Yep. That guy played the voice of Winnie the Pooh and Kaa from the Jungle Book

  • omfg! i freakin loved this movie when i wuz in preschool!!! :D

  • Everyone watch the 1978 movie RINGING BELL. It was an anti-disney version of this movie where the son never finds the courage to rescue his mom and she is brutally murdered by the wolf. The kid then grows up to be a ruthless killer. A very realistic version of this movie....

  • @GenericBeatrix Why? I don't want to see something like that. It sounds awful and totally unrealistic. Where I'm from I've met plenty of real-life "lamberts" who do good things with their lives after overcoming tremendous obstacles. I'm sorry you've never had the experience. I hope you get the chance in the future.

  • @Evangelina098

"it sound awful and tatally unrealistic"

    well, that's why it's called cartoon i guess ^^

but what do you mean with "obstacles" ?

for me this cartoon is about adoption and it's okay so far

you shouldn't take EVERYTHING in it for 100% seriously, of course ;-)

and please forgive me my bad school english ^^ ...it's long ago

  • @GenericBeatrix Sounds terrible, no thanks.

  • What happened to the lamb that went to Mrs Leo Lion? 2:08 btw.

  • 7:25 *thunk* Yaaaaaahooohooohooooeeeeee!

  • @doctoryarn Good ol' Goofy soundbits. Good ol' Disney soundbits, hehe.

  • oh, poor lioness mother who doesn't get her real son. but i love this cartoon anyway and i'm 14!

  • @LionLiberty I'm sure that they have a backup plan :)

  • @amm019 i hope so
