Actually Delft is always in a major traffic jam, because it is a bottleneck between the bigger cities of The Hague and Rotterdam for cars and trains. The train track also passes uneavenly trough the city wich creates unpleasent spaces and a horrific sight for residents and tourists. Then there is the problem of the cycle parking lots of wich there not enough. Most people in Delft take the car as a means of transport. If you want to give a good example, please use Utrecht, Amersfoort, Leiden...

I disagree. I live in the "oude"part of Delft and in my experience not a lot of people there use cars all the time. Partly because you have to park along the end of Buitenwatersloot or take your chances under the bridge. raheelkhan, the big advantage delft has over scotland is that its flat ! nice vid though.
