Its kinda ironic that..(this ep aside) that the BEST portrayals of The Dark Knight are In fact to be found in Justice League (Original & Unlimited) its like the writers there just COMPLETELY GET the character an what he's all about, better even than some of the comics guys..& juxtaposed against the Kal-Els Flashs & Wonder Woman et al..you get to APPRECIATE the characters virtues (AND flaws) ALOT more than say when he's on his own doin his nightly rounds down Crime Alley or whereva... What season is this from? And does The Batman eps ever get more mature? I stopped watching after the first 2 or 3 seasons, cuz it just seemed so childish. After that, I watched Spidey/Batman TAS, and JLU, now THOSE were mature cartoons(compared to The Batman, anyways, and in general imo). Supes TAS was only slightly more mature, it did have some great eps, but not as many as the others I mentioned.

No, Bruce Timm was not involved in this show but a few others who spear headed the original DCAU were. Alan Burnett was the show's executive producer, Andrea Romano was the voice talent director, and Paul Dini wrote the season 4 episode "Two of a Kind" which introduced Harley Quinn. I actually think Season 4 is the best season of The Batman show and it's the only season from the series that I own. I strongly suggest that you take a look at it if you get a chance.
