I'll just have to wait to see the answer. I have given up. I tried drawing the lines first but this didn't help There must be something I am missing here. Every time I try drawing lines first I end up with either a H of dots or a pyramid of dots and both are only 5 lines.
i am happy that i solved it in 1 minute :) great videos they are addictive :) Thanks TyYann

I have tried and tried and it seems impossible. The best I can do is 5 lines with a H shape of dots.

I have also tried to visulize it in my mind and it seems that it isn't possible. Even a line of 7 dots if it was allowed would only give 5 lines.
I will be interested to see if it is actually possible.

It is possible. Garanteed.

Can I fold the paper? Can I make a very thick line that engulfs the entire paper?

No and... no.
It's a "clean" problem, no fancy trick hidden. The lines are the mathematical ones - infinitely thin - and the dots are mathematical points.
