On the issue of bits. It is great to ride without a bit. As I do when in the closure of my farm but when I leave the safety of our safe haven I do ride with a bit. It has saved my life and the horses life before. We ride everywhere together. We go pretty much everywhere. That being said, where do you stand on BASIC Natural Horsemanship Techniques? The bond here between man and horse are incredible, but what is so natural about rolling a horse, a "flight" animal, over onto it's back and playing with it? And sitting? These actions almost portray the horse as doglike to me,-just confused on how this is natural, as the two cannot really be compared,a one predator, one prey.this really is amazing though, thanks again!
Me and his other student do put down time on "basic Natural horsemanship".
However, the things like sit, and lie on the back, is a question about trust (well everything he does is). You can not do these things without the basic natural horsemanship.

Some horses require a bit. I know, the whole "friendship" thing or whatever, but not all horses you can trust just running around baraback with no bridle.
i have a 4 week old colt and would love him to be trained like that and for me to be able to be that successfull. i would do anything for any animal and expesh a horse. i do pony club and i would love to enter shows in the future with my foal but i dont think they will let me ride without a bit and its sad to think that becuase the last thing i want to do is to hurt my foal in anyway.

I almost cried. I want that for MY horse. My precious baby. Wouldn't it be great to go to a pony club show with no saddle bridle spurs or whip. (you would get banned!) I wish I knew how to train liek this!
You can collect a horse and still ride like this, Silver is telling no lies. It can be done. I'm very impressed by this and hope many learn to ride this way. I'm working my horse to ride like this too but its still too soon and since he doesn't know it'd be dangerous.
Knowledge, timeing, feel, partnership, ground manners, getting the mind and keeping it - those key things. I'm impressed by this way of riding and am honored to be learning it.
When I watch my coach ride like this, he just sits down and the horse comes down. I do believe anyone could ride like this. Its knowledge, friendship, timeing and feel. To do this, you need to control the horses mind. (continue in next post)
i am extremly impressed! do you have a training facility somewhere? and if so do you have internships, i would love to learn how you do this. you had me in tears, i want my horse to do things b/c he wants to, not b/c humans unlawfully force him to
i have jumped both bareback and bridleless. You just have to have a good relationship with your horse. The riding shown here is nothing short of something I've dreamed about for a long time, and am pursing in my own riding.
If you want to say, "wow, my horses go wonderful without a bit. Here are some pictures of how happy they are" then great. Have at it. But don't post pictures of horrible riders with horrible contraptions in isolated incidents and claim that is how "everyone else" rides.
It is not how everyone on the horseworld rides and it is ignorant to say so. It is also ignorant to look down on anyone who does ride with a bit because your way "is the better way".
I want you aswell to read the comments I made about the movie and you Might understand why the bit is bad.
Not all riders give pain all the time with bit, but pain exists in all bits, with all riders. Nomatter what you wish to belive. Then we also have the fact that the bit is something used to controll the horse with pain.
A horse does not need a bit to understand where he shall put his legs, its a question about relationship and communication with your horse.
I agree that too many people don't know how to ride well so they bit up their horses and ride "with their hands" but honestly, all bits are voilent? That's complete BS.
If all bits are violent, explain to me why my horse will take the bit on his own accord when I give him (literally) looped reins? Why will he chew the bit out of my hands on his own accord when he is engaging his back? Why is he happy and content when I ride with a bit? Because it's painful?
Its not a question about How mutch pain, all bits are painfull, more or less. Please read the Video Owner Options (as it is a requirement to anserw on this movie) and you will understand Why its a bit pain for all horses.
Then we have the fact that the bit is a question about riding controlling a horse with pain.
That your horse takes the bit from you hand and chew on it is not a prove that it likes it.
Its a prove that it knows that when you offer the bit it shall take it.
That it chews on the bit is accually bad since it wear down the teeth and creates what in at least my country is called hook in the mouth, this gives the horse lots of pain even when it does not have a bit.
The reason we need to file a horse without deformed teeth from the birth is cause of the bit. A horse that would work without a bit from the start would not need that we polish down the teeth.
Actually, most horses need their teeth floated, or "polished" as you say, to aid with the chewing and digestion of food, not only because of a bit.
"Wild" horses are grazing nearly all the time every day. This aids in keeping the teeth filed. As much as we try to duplicate this, our horses are not grazing and eating as much as wild or ferral horses are which is why we need to mannually maintain their teeth. It is NOT solely because of bits.
All the problems a horse has with the teeth starts with the bit.
My horses has the possibility to eats as mutch as the wild horses since they have a huge ball of grass in the pasture in the winter and in the summer they go on green grass.
Wihtout a bit we would not have so mutch trubble with the teeth on a horse.
continued... Watching the video, I was thinking it was too severe a viewpoint. After reading your comments I see your point more clearly. It makes me think that I will NEVER use a bit on my horse. If horses are made to run free in the wild, how do you justify riding them? Couldn't that act alone, even if done without any equipment or torture devices, be considered tortuous in itself? Do you feel guilty just having your horse in captivity and riding him?
The least we can do is to make the life they live so close to the natural way s as possible, I have my horses outdoor night as day. They have a place they seek shelter if the weather is bad.
Its very importent to create a friendship and friendly relation between the human and horse and true that ern the trust to ride ahorse.
The horse is not an animal ment to be a servent for us, its a free animal and it would survive without us. Its the human who is egoistiv and keeps them for our own pleasure.
I am studying Parelli Natural horsemanship, which at least involves riding without a bit some of the time. Parelli says that for collection you do need a bit...for upper level dressage moves. I am enjoying learning Parelli's system as I return to horses after a 10 year break. I see now how awfully I treated my horses then, and am thankful I know so much more now. continued...
I agree, that its not true. That video inspired me, I've been working toward riding like that. A lot of riders don't put the horses energy to use, if he's using 90% of himself, focused and thinking on the rider he's not going to do anything. I've ridden a horse who liked to buck in a halter and two lead ropes. Hit him with a whip he'd buck more. The more muscle they have the less they feel it is not true.
I really appreciate this!. I'm not a big fan of bits, so I'm retraining my horse with voice commands. I always feel sick when I'm at a show and some idiot is pulling on her horse's mouth with one of those 5-inch shanked bits. Those dressage horses with their heads cranked in past vertical are in constant pain, and it's rubbish to say that's the only way you can get collection! Once the horse relaxes that's where its head naturally go+es.
Great video, I think we should all take away that we need to keep an open mind about our horses. If they are not enjoying their work then something is wrong, with our handling/riding, our kit or thier health. I think the art of good horsemanship is determining and then eliminating the causes of resistance so that our horses start to look like Alexanders do, and not like the horses at the front of the clip.
The more thought we put into it, the better for our horses....
It's not the aids we use that hurt horses, it's the way they're used. I ride an Arab mare who is sensitive to every aid. I use a bit & whip but I only use slight pressure on the reins or a light touch with the whip. I never hit her. Sure bitless is good, but we can't forget that horses are unpredictable & can become dangerous if threatened. I feel that riding in a halter is best. Good, but painless control.
It's good to ride bitless if the horse is able. But not all horses are that calm & some need the force of the bit to keep them safe. It depends on the horses build. If they have sensitive mouths a bit isn't a good idea. But if they're large & the bit's soft it won't have too bad of an effect on them. Same with whips. The more muscle they have the less they feel it. It depends on the horse.
awsome vid, im doing natural horsemanship and riding in a halter although im not at a high enough level to be riding with just a string, but ill get there 1 day! lol
Another point, this method using bits and spurs etc. has been used for cuentruies and change makes people panic, like the natrual horse trim, people freak out cause they need shoes, no they don't, It's time for change to help the horse!
This is like the first video of this guy that i ever saw, i Love his work! Our one horse used to rear trying to get away from that stupid old bit, now we use a bitless bridle and at the slightest touch she turns or stops, and she is not chopming and head braced waiting for someone to just pull back slightly, I say we ban bits and spurs and any use for sports that hurts the horse.
Nice video, what they do is amazing, but it is not going to make me go throw out all my bits. I love my horse, she loves me, and I am not abusive. Also, I don't think comparing using bits to women's right to vote isn't very fair. But there are worse things you could be doing with horses than traning them to ride w/o bits. More power to ya.
and he was having problems with nerves and rushing and he started getting really stupid. A great trainer suggested dropping my reins. I did. I now riding him bareback and bitless and I jump him over 3'6" and he no longer rushes... I think bits CAN be good training tools, but the point of TRAINING should be to eventually not NEED all the gadgets.... JMHO... I still ride my horse with a bit on occasion, but much less than before.
It would be nice for everybody to be able to ride without bridles and bits, but it is just not practical. You cannot compete without a bridle or bit, and to me, it could be very dangerous in some situations with alot of horses. Not all horses are able to be ridden bridleless, and you cannot expect everybody to follow his example.
This guy is good, I'll say that, but he shouldn't be denouncing people who use bits and whips. These are training implements, and are only cruel if misused. Anyways, these pics are isolated incidences; this isn't what all traditional riders do.
OH, and I do not agree that a bit is violence. A bit, when used properly, uses PRESSURE not force. Yes, when sued wrong, a bit can be a horribly cruel and painful tool.
A horse can't collect without a bit, ow THAT is rubbish. I think that it would be wonderful to ride without a bridle or bit all the time, but it is just not practical. I think that the trainer is amazing, and I think that the results he have gotten are astounding. I dont see antyhing wrong with the trainer. I just do not appreciate the message that this video portrays, and the WAY in which it is achieved.
Well if you did your research, you'd know. It's true, look at the horses, they're not even collected. Read about bitless bridles, the horse will not collect, i mean maybe once in a while but it's doubtfull.
And yes, bits DO fit horses mouths-well if you know what you're doing and get the right size.
Who said anything about horses being dumb? Only you.
How is there no space?! They don't have teeth where the bit goes. Do you know how to even tell if a horse is collected or not? Having a headset is NOT collected.
You know, i wish they would show all the horses being bad in the second part. I KNOW it happens. I mean, the horse isn't even collected, they're hollowing out. That's where bitless bridles go bad, the horse can not properly collect. So this video is radiculous.
Bits aren't harsh unless the rider makes them harsh. And yes, they do fit in the horses mouth because 1) They don't have teeth there 2) That's why there are different sizes. 3) You're supposed to measure horses mouth before choosing a bit, then you can choose the correct one.Rubber bits are okay but 1) they dry the horses mouth out more then any other bit 2) They're usually too thick unless you know how to correctly measure the horses mouth.
How about making a video with a neutral point of view on the topic, rather than being so one sided? The majority of riders out there are not like these photos. Show some of the amazing things that other riders can do, and not only how "cruel" we can be. This video proves nothing, and to me, is not a good marketing ploy for the trainer AT ALL.
This is ridiculous. If you show only the worst pictures you can find, where viewers do not know the situation or context from which they were taken, of course it is going to look cruel. If you show only the bad side of something, you can make anything look horrible. I am not complaining about the way the trainer teaches, I think that what he can do is amazing, and can only dream of being able to do that someday.
I can not see the good in a bit, since all bit, however soft with however soft hand, IS violence. Nomatter what you wish to belive. Sorry, there is no room in a horse mouth for a bit.
And however nice you ride with a bit, there will always be abit pain, and that is nothing I wish for my own horses.
To ride a horse with bit if you can ride without...? Why?
it's a bunch of crap :P don't giv into it. Noone is accually that harsh with there horses..I don;t care how well this training works..I don't like them bashing us "bad bit users!" If you use a bit properally it doesn;t pinch one bit....ughh
Ay bit, with however soft hand you have, is violence towards the horse mouth since there is no natural space for a bit in the mouth.
As in our own mouth...
Why ride with when you can ride without?
All horses can be ride like Alexander ride his horses.
One of his horses has a very bad reputation from his life before he came to Alexander, where he threw of rider and sent them to hospital with broken bones.
Today Alexander ride this horse without bridle or bit.
my horse started doing that, and i took his bridle off, and found out the curb chain had bene pinching him, which is why he reared and stuff...so i uh, kept his bridle off and rode with a halter..he's better now, but i really wish i could do this with him..wow..
I cannot believe this. It is so incredible. This is an example what I dream of... but without a good teacher...what a pity. The world would be much more beautiful place for horses if we treated all of them like that. Does Mr Nezvorov have a website? Or where does he come from? thanx Klára.
I really hope you don't think all people who use bits are cruel or evil. I have the gentlest kind on my horse, loose ring sweet iron snaffle, and it's adjusted loosely. Sometimes I can ride her in a halter, or bridleless in the paddock, but because of her pst she's too unpredictable to ride without a bit, and in very soft, light hands, it's fine. I don't use any contraptions or training tools, don't beat my horse, give her breaks when she asks for them, and we have a wonderful relationship.
i would like to say that i disaprove of the use of any bit but the snaffle i ride in a snaffle at shows because it aplise no pressur to the mouth or neck but at home i ride in a halter bridle ( a bridle with out a bit ) witch encourgas my pony to strech down. i am 11 and my family own 1 of the best show jumping stable in the countrey we are famous for olny ride in snaffles and halter bridles
gr8 video BUT just becuase these horses are like this doesnt mean they arent going to run if something scares them and not show the white of there eye once in a while.
Of course not, but that is not why the horse show the white of the eye, the horses makes those eye in This video cause of the pull from the humans. Hard to see perhaps since you dont see all pictures that was taken.
And cause the rider is to hard with the hand. Or other reasons.
and the people in the first part should ware a bit let your face bleed get kicked in the ribs over and over again get whiped by a angery human and never get a good thank you get a taste of your own medicine
I ride in a regular school, so i may never learn how to ride a horse like that, even if i had my own it would be hard, i guess... But i always remember how a bit may hurt and i try to be as gentle as possible each time i ride :) You're very lucky to have such a great trainer, and nice vid anyway (*sad*)
I think that sometimes one need to compromise ON THE WAY of becoming a NHEfollower. People don't just throw away their bits like that. A rubber bit is a good suggestion if one HAVE TO CHOOSE between an iron bit and a rubber bit. Hopefully the thoughts has been awaken in the riders mind from watching this video. ONE DOES NOT SOLVE WARS IN A DAY AND ROME WASN'T BUILD IN ONE DAY EITHER! C'MON!
Now that made me cry... I wish all the ppl could take good care of their horses, and not putting them into risky situations such as bullfights (i'm from Portugal and we do have them, the bull's horns are covered but i'm still against it). Those 1st pictures shocked me, god i can't stop crying remembering those 2 dead horses... Beautiful pictures though, those horses must be very happy.

An belive people seem to have is that you can not collect a horse without bit.
This is of course not true.
A horse does not need a stick in his mouth to know how to move his body, and to collect a horse, is all about the horse movement and his mind.
SilverSammet 5 years ago
You can not controll the mind with a stick, you might be able to controll it with pain thou.
So what most riders do, is to teach their horses that when I do "this" with the bit, you do that with your body.
Its not the bit, but the rider who collects the horse and therefore you dont need a stick n the mouth to be able to collect.
All you need is knowlegs. And time...

Good, but painless control.
storm15918 5 years ago
It's good to ride bitless if the horse is able. But not all horses are that calm & some need the force of the bit to keep them safe. It depends on the horses build. If they have sensitive mouths a bit isn't a good idea. But if they're large & the bit's soft it won't have too bad of an effect on them. Same with whips. The more muscle they have the less they feel it. It depends on the horse.
storm15918 5 years ago
This is not true. That is a belive people have.
But in the end its just a myth.
A horse is a hrose, however its built.
The bit and the whip does not make them less or diffrent.
that a whip would hurt less on a horse with mutch muscles is not true, why would it? Its sitll skinn you whip.
SilverSammet 5 years ago
you cant at least condemn whips, even he had them and not all of us ride using a whip

I wear spurs, but never beat on the horse, EVER, but there's this bitch in my horse team who was dragging her horse around.

Wow this is amazing. beautiful. what a fantastic man.
alctel 5 years ago
Another point, this method using bits and spurs etc. has been used for cuentruies and change makes people panic, like the natrual horse trim, people freak out cause they need shoes, no they don't, It's time for change to help the horse!
ShannyPants2 5 years ago
This is like the first video of this guy that i ever saw, i Love his work! Our one horse used to rear trying to get away from that stupid old bit, now we use a bitless bridle and at the slightest touch she turns or stops, and she is not chopming and head braced waiting for someone to just pull back slightly, I say we ban bits and spurs and any use for sports that hurts the horse.
ShannyPants2 5 years ago
wow wonderful :o poor horses in te beginning, but after that wow. im just speachless ...
anneneneniek 5 years ago
Nice video, what they do is amazing, but it is not going to make me go throw out all my bits. I love my horse, she loves me, and I am not abusive. Also, I don't think comparing using bits to women's right to vote isn't very fair. But there are worse things you could be doing with horses than traning them to ride w/o bits. More power to ya.
justahorse 5 years ago
The compere was that we dont need to stick to things we "always done" just cause we always done them.
SilverSammet 5 years ago
and he was having problems with nerves and rushing and he started getting really stupid. A great trainer suggested dropping my reins. I did. I now riding him bareback and bitless and I jump him over 3'6" and he no longer rushes... I think bits CAN be good training tools, but the point of TRAINING should be to eventually not NEED all the gadgets.... JMHO... I still ride my horse with a bit on occasion, but much less than before.
gryphonkeen 5 years ago
I agree, I think some people are definitly to harsh with bits, and I to was skeptical. however, I used a happy mouth on my paint jumper (4'9)
gryphonkeen 5 years ago
It would be nice for everybody to be able to ride without bridles and bits, but it is just not practical. You cannot compete without a bridle or bit, and to me, it could be very dangerous in some situations with alot of horses. Not all horses are able to be ridden bridleless, and you cannot expect everybody to follow his example.
DreamsOfEquus 5 years ago
Oh, and I would love to see someone jump a cross country course tackless.
DreamsOfEquus 5 years ago
I belive Pat Parelli does that... Without saddle and bridle.
SilverSammet 5 years ago
Why would you not be able to ride your horse without a bit, under the circumstance that you trained it for it first?
And the only reason you can not compete without bit is cause everyone rides with bit.
If more people did start to ride without bit, the rules would be changed.
However, no rider on NHE does compete.
SilverSammet 5 years ago
Must say its so beautiful how he can ride.. and MAN I LOVE THAT CHESNUT!
ash4dan 5 years ago
I agree, that chestnut is stunning. He obviously has something special with horses.
DreamsOfEquus 5 years ago
This guy is good, I'll say that, but he shouldn't be denouncing people who use bits and whips. These are training implements, and are only cruel if misused. Anyways, these pics are isolated incidences; this isn't what all traditional riders do.
TheTetrarch 5 years ago
OH, and I do not agree that a bit is violence. A bit, when used properly, uses PRESSURE not force. Yes, when sued wrong, a bit can be a horribly cruel and painful tool.
Live885livelifelive 5 years ago
A horse can't collect without a bit, ow THAT is rubbish. I think that it would be wonderful to ride without a bridle or bit all the time, but it is just not practical. I think that the trainer is amazing, and I think that the results he have gotten are astounding. I dont see antyhing wrong with the trainer. I just do not appreciate the message that this video portrays, and the WAY in which it is achieved.
Live885livelifelive 5 years ago
Not to mention, not of those accidents could have been prevented if the bit wasn't there...
Bubakhorse 5 years ago
Well if you did your research, you'd know. It's true, look at the horses, they're not even collected. Read about bitless bridles, the horse will not collect, i mean maybe once in a while but it's doubtfull.
And yes, bits DO fit horses mouths-well if you know what you're doing and get the right size.
Who said anything about horses being dumb? Only you.
Bubakhorse 5 years ago
I anserwed you and made a more explaining text in the "Video Owner Options" since the space here is to short.
Also I suggest you all read the "Video Owner Options" before making an comment.
Thank you.
SilverSammet 5 years ago
And you think that a horse can´t collect correctly without a bit.
Says enough for me.
Also there is no place in the mouth for a bit.
Take a closer look at anatomy, study it and then come back to me.
A bit is just there to show the lackness of the rider.
Sky212 5 years ago
I guess that comment was not to me Sky?
SilverSammet 5 years ago
No I answered to Bubakhorse.
Sky212 5 years ago
How is there no space?! They don't have teeth where the bit goes. Do you know how to even tell if a horse is collected or not? Having a headset is NOT collected.
Bubakhorse 5 years ago
Perhaps you should do as I said to you and read my message about the video?
If not, I will block you form this video, since I asked you so nicly to read the text before comment on the movie.
SilverSammet 5 years ago
You know, i wish they would show all the horses being bad in the second part. I KNOW it happens. I mean, the horse isn't even collected, they're hollowing out. That's where bitless bridles go bad, the horse can not properly collect. So this video is radiculous.
Bubakhorse 5 years ago
That's one of the dumbest thing I've ever heard!!!
'Horses can't collect without bit' HAHAHA.
Good joke really hell of a good one.
Do you think that horses are so dumb that they need something in their mouth to know how they should move?
Or are humans just lazy to take enough time for the horse to teach it how it can carry a rider without a problem?
Sky212 5 years ago
Bits aren't harsh unless the rider makes them harsh. And yes, they do fit in the horses mouth because 1) They don't have teeth there 2) That's why there are different sizes. 3) You're supposed to measure horses mouth before choosing a bit, then you can choose the correct one.Rubber bits are okay but 1) they dry the horses mouth out more then any other bit 2) They're usually too thick unless you know how to correctly measure the horses mouth.
Bubakhorse 5 years ago
How about making a video with a neutral point of view on the topic, rather than being so one sided? The majority of riders out there are not like these photos. Show some of the amazing things that other riders can do, and not only how "cruel" we can be. This video proves nothing, and to me, is not a good marketing ploy for the trainer AT ALL.
SkyeBloo 5 years ago
This is ridiculous. If you show only the worst pictures you can find, where viewers do not know the situation or context from which they were taken, of course it is going to look cruel. If you show only the bad side of something, you can make anything look horrible. I am not complaining about the way the trainer teaches, I think that what he can do is amazing, and can only dream of being able to do that someday.
SkyeBloo 5 years ago
I can not see the good in a bit, since all bit, however soft with however soft hand, IS violence. Nomatter what you wish to belive. Sorry, there is no room in a horse mouth for a bit.
And however nice you ride with a bit, there will always be abit pain, and that is nothing I wish for my own horses.
To ride a horse with bit if you can ride without...? Why?
SilverSammet 5 years ago
Why?
Because it shows the truth?
Who came up with the fairytale that a bit can fit in a horses mouth?
That's just crap.
Sky212 5 years ago
it's a bunch of crap :P don't giv into it. Noone is accually that harsh with there horses..I don;t care how well this training works..I don't like them bashing us "bad bit users!" If you use a bit properally it doesn;t pinch one bit....ughh
xxkat87xx 5 years ago
Ay bit, with however soft hand you have, is violence towards the horse mouth since there is no natural space for a bit in the mouth.
As in our own mouth...
Why ride with when you can ride without?
All horses can be ride like Alexander ride his horses.
One of his horses has a very bad reputation from his life before he came to Alexander, where he threw of rider and sent them to hospital with broken bones.
Today Alexander ride this horse without bridle or bit.

I cannot believe this. It is so incredible. This is an example what I dream of... but without a good teacher...what a pity. The world would be much more beautiful place for horses if we treated all of them like that. Does Mr Nezvorov have a website? Or where does he come from? thanx Klára.

He has a website and he is from russia.

I don't use any contraptions or training tools, don't beat my horse, give her breaks when she asks for them, and we have a wonderful relationship.

gr8 video BUT just becuase these horses are like this doesnt mean they arent going to run if something scares them and not show the white of there eye once in a while.
Bisthebestshetland 5 years ago
Of course not, but that is not why the horse show the white of the eye, the horses makes those eye in This video cause of the pull from the humans. Hard to see perhaps since you dont see all pictures that was taken.
And cause the rider is to hard with the hand. Or other reasons.

I ride in a regular school, so i may never learn how to ride a horse like that, even if i had my own it would be hard, i guess... But i always remember how a bit may hurt and i try to be as gentle as possible each time i ride :) You're very lucky to have such a great trainer, and nice vid anyway (*sad*)
horsegodess 5 years ago
Thank you.
You can always struggle to get better.
If you have to have bit onyour ridingschool, try to use rubberbit. Better then iron, even if they still are bad for the horse.
SilverSammet 5 years ago
I didn't know rubberbits existed... I'll make that suggestion, this vid really hurted me. Thanks for the suggestion!! :)

SilverSammet 5 years ago
a snaffle in swedish is a "tränsbett"
michaeljackson4ever 5 years ago
Thank you for the translation.
SilverSammet 5 years ago
I think that sometimes one need to compromise ON THE WAY of becoming a NHEfollower. People don't just throw away their bits like that. A rubber bit is a good suggestion if one HAVE TO CHOOSE between an iron bit and a rubber bit. Hopefully the thoughts has been awaken in the riders mind from watching this video. ONE DOES NOT SOLVE WARS IN A DAY AND ROME WASN'T BUILD IN ONE DAY EITHER! C'MON!
michaeljackson4ever 5 years ago
That is my point.
Things take time.
A bit is violence against the horse mouth however soft it is, but to choose between lots of pain or less pain, I would choose less pain.
Its impossible to make a ridingschool go bitless from ironbit...
But with time and nre ideas, ex. from iron to rubberbit... and from THAT to bitless... its possible...
SilverSammet 5 years ago
Now that made me cry... I wish all the ppl could take good care of their horses, and not putting them into risky situations such as bullfights (i'm from Portugal and we do have them, the bull's horns are covered but i'm still against it). Those 1st pictures shocked me, god i can't stop crying remembering those 2 dead horses... Beautiful pictures though, those horses must be very happy.
