do not call him a nigga he is our brother and we must love him regardless of what he give us true musie. but most of all he is me and you he is my brother
This song 'Soca Baptist' was the first time a Road March was won by a new comer. 1980 was the first year Blue Boy (now known as Super Blue) started to sing Calypso. The only other rookie to win any other major Calypso title in Trinidad & Tobago was in 1961 when the Mighty Dougla won the Calypso King (now known as Calypso Monarch) title with 'Lazy Man' and 'Split Dougla In Two'.
One of the rare, perfect calypso. There is no need to change lyric, music, or chorus. Religion, culture, and pure unadulterated time capsule. Wine for meh, nah?
