Nope, that's an ODST (Orbital drop shock Trooper). ODST's are special forces, usually inserted with shock-pods from orbit. They're ruthless figters, but have a reputation for having a bad attitude towards ordinary infantry, as well as spartans.
To ODST's spartans are considered freaks.
Master Chief 117 killed three ODST soldiers when he was 14, after he had his body enhanced by different kinds of bio-engineering, including strength and reflex enhancements.
After he had been enhanced, he had to lie down for a while.
After a few days in sickbed, he went to the fitness center aboard the ship, to spend his time in a reasonable way. While he was there he noticed that he had gotten a lot stronger. And not only that, but some things seemed to be going in slow-motion. So he used a pin from one of the weights and observed it dropping through the air, while keeping check on how many seconds it took for it to hit the floor.
The ODST's went as far as using steel rods in the ring, and John's training clearly stated that if something poses a serious threat, you get rid of it..
Using some pretty neat moves, he dispatches the three soldiers. (Ouch)
dirty no frills hit the dirt or die plain and simply. No war film has done that so painstakeingly realistic since Saveing Pvt Ryan/Band of Brothers. The prospect of being able to do this well without a budget. i have to agree. a big wallet and this thing will fly. :D
These were actually produced by the team working on the halo movie. I'll admit, it's a little lacking with the cgi, and the brutes look more like chubaka than brutes (too fuzzy), but this is what they can do without funding, just imagine what it'll be like when they actually have money...
You should read Ghosts of Onyx, the new one. Its not about chief really but one of his old spartan teammates from fall of reach. Its still a damn good book though.

While he was busy, theese three soldiers came in, and one of them used the weight that the chief (John) had taken the pin from.
John gave them the pin and offered his appoligies, but the three soldiers were being pretty damn agressive.
When the three ODST's superior came in, they were told to do all of their fighting in the boxing ring.

The ODST's went as far as using steel rods in the ring, and John's training clearly stated that if something poses a serious threat, you get rid of it..
Using some pretty neat moves, he dispatches the three soldiers. (Ouch)

dirty no frills hit the dirt or die plain and simply. No war film has done that so painstakeingly realistic since Saveing Pvt Ryan/Band of Brothers. The prospect of being able to do this well without a budget. i have to agree. a big wallet and this thing will fly. :D

These were actually produced by the team working on the halo movie. I'll admit, it's a little lacking with the cgi, and the brutes look more like chubaka than brutes (too fuzzy), but this is what they can do without funding, just imagine what it'll be like when they actually have money...

You should read Ghosts of Onyx, the new one. Its not about chief really but one of his old spartan teammates from fall of reach. Its still a damn good book though.
