  • Nice vid mate, I always thread them on the other way so the head of the work is just on the point of the hook as most fish will strike at the head end of the bait, Same tip for sandeels as well :)

  • I personally only ever use mackerel strips and sand-eel. Ive tried ragworm & lug before but never had much luck..

    Might get myself a baiting needle and try that out.

  • this looks like they have less chance of biting you am i right? im rubbish at baiting my hook and have lost count how many times ive been biten by the bait lol so this looks like a good idea to me

  • Sorry for taking a while to reply, the needle used in this video is made by gemini but companys such as veals mail order also make cheaper needles that are just as effective, thanks

  • i always use ragworm for fishing :) well... that and squid. thanks for the advice with the needle i never thought of doing it that way before :)
