@simontheslakoth719: it's not a missingno, it's the ghost form of the pokemon in pokemon tower before you get the silph scope to identify them (you also aren't able to fight them without the silph scope, as they'll scare your pokemon into inaction until you're able to identify them)... also, the pokemon fighting it appears to be a beedrill

In Japan, the green wersion had "updated graghics" that were incidently used for the USA release of Red and Blue. (Although ekans still looked like a pile of u no wat).

P.S. The Second generation was the best, and after that the whole thing died. The only reason that it's still alive is because eight year olds think that DPPa

is best.

It was Blue that improved things.

The original two releases were Red and Green, followed later by a special edition version called Pokemon Blue, which had improved sprites for all the Pokemon and a few other changes.

When Red and Blue were released in the US they chose to use the improved Japanese version of Blue and translate it into two US versions.

I've played pokemon since R/B. I skipped 3rd gen, since I didn't really care for it, but DPPt and HG/SS are actually really fun. Especially if you have friends to trade and battle with.

You should give them a shot if you're still into that kind of game.

I listen to Pokemon songs, and they think I'm a nerd... well, double that with all the other things I do, lol. Pokemon was the very first video game I played PERIOD, thus it made such a big impact on me that I want to play all the games.

Sad thing is, its almost scary to mention you like Pokemon if your over 10 for fear of being alienated.

For example, i just made a sculpture that looks like a pokeball on a trophy. I also made a drawing of Suicune, Raikou, and Entei around a circle which contains Ho-oh, and for my latest project, i'm making a miniature collage for my hero: Red, don't ask why.

@SonicBrawler1992 Well, i wanted to express how much Pokemon was a part of my life. My first journey of pokemon started in the first region, Kanto. I got Leafgreen while my brother got Firered and I was hooked ever since. So to make it simple, i played as every hero in the main handheld franchise, i caught almost every pokemon available, and i express my love for pokemon because I truly do. That, everybody, is enjoying what you do without anybody getting in your way.

In fact, if you don't count Leafgreen, i played every pokemon generation in chronologic order: i played the first generation games, silver, emerald, mystery dungeon red, platinum, and soulsilver.
