Hey ppl! At my church we have a projector connect to our laptop, we want to add one TV and 1or 2 monitor to this laptop. We want to control everything from one laptop. Can that be done by using 3 external VGA CARD? Or there’s another approach to it. Thanks in advance
@BOS6940, The software is Microsoft Windows Vista, which I also said was not used in the making of this video. Vista has the power to handle three monitors provided the video card can support it.
Had you watched the video, you would know that the multiple task bars come from a program called Ultramon ( I say this at 6:21). I also share a few other useful programs with viewers. Pay attention, you might learn something.
No difference. Even a three year old would know it needs to be on. I doubt someones gonna do all the setup, and then moan cos it aint working, look at the vid "make sure the monitor is plugged in and switched on". "Oh, well I never knew that".
@BOS6940 I agree, there was repetition in the video. It was my first video and was for a technical writing class. Had I not laid everything out as clearly as I had (Even to the point of redundancy) the teacher would have taken off points. Thank you for the feed back.
@BOS6940, Sure you can find the on button, but the play button has obviously befuddled you. The steps for monitor 3 are different than 2 because you have to install the software for the graphics card.
Microsoft Windows can detect resolution, but that doesn't mean it can detect the correct one. This is the case with that particular monitor.
Please do not respond to me with any more uneducated answers. Thank you.
@d1l2g3 When you are going through your display settings, set one of the other two monitors as your primary in advanced settings. Then select the laptop icon (still in display settings) and deselect Extend the desktop onto this monitor check box. The box above it should not be selected. Hope this helps!
turn the laptop display off and that should solve it.
SonyVaioNerd: Performance wise, there can be lag if you have a bunch of programs open.
I run Adobe Photoshop, various tabs on Google Chrome, and several word documents without too much trouble.
BTW, Photoshop and Itunes don't get along.
It really depends on which external graphics card you buy and how much RAM you are running. My HP G60 is fine until I start heavily multitasking between multiple programs.

Right, OK, I tend not to watch videos that seem dumb. By software I mean stuff like Ultramon, stuff like that. Windows is the operating system.
The main thing about this video is the fact you explain things that a 5 year old would know and you repeat yourself like a broken record.

@BOS6940 Maybe a 4 year old is watching it?

Would you really expect that??

@saltydogg087
Oh, fair enough. If it was for a class and repetition was for extra points, I can understand. I'll give you that one. Sorry about that.
