This happened to me wen I made a remix to Beyonce's hit song 'Sweet Dreams' a few days after the music video dropped and it was also around the same time MJ died and I had remixed Sweet Dreams with Beat It and it went viral instantly and as soon as it got to 300,000 views Sony went and blocked it everywhere :\ I fear the same will happen with another hit of mine where Justin Bieber has actually commented and shared a remix I have done of his song. I'm just waiting for his label to block it.

seriously, this is awesome because one of my videos got muted because it had a paul simon song in it. it was a video of my dog with a paul simon song in the background. i thought it was so ridiculous, as if paul simon is losing money because of my 2 minute video of my dog.....

what you said about dancing to her song because you like it so it's a compliment....I agree totally, you use her song to dance to cuz you like it cuz you connect with it on some level, which is essentially what artists are supposed to create music for. So why would you be insulted if someone liked your music enough to create their own dance to it?? Well done for going through it all to get your video back up!

hey, i was just searching legal ways to avoid these rediculous copyright restrictions, and stumbled across this. I did check it and its not just some made up shit, its real, so therefore youtube has to respect it.
Youtube copyright restrictions are only applicable to those who actually make a profit from their videos, so if youre not a partner, or you dont make any profit from the video, and you dont intend to use it in a public way, then you can have it up :D

I think your video lasted because at first when it wasnt a very popular video. but when you get so many views, youtube actually pays you. legally you can only do those things unless you arent getting money from it
