Agreed, the civil rights movement is far from over. It's not so much a fight for equality in society but economical equality. Many of the large black communities around where I live are located around the old military infrastructure. Once George Bush Sr. closed those bases and plants down, many black people were out of jobs. It's economical equality that needs to be address today.

Agreed, the civil rights movement is far from over. It's not so much a fight for equality in society but economical equality. Many of the large black communities around where I live are located around the old military infrastructure. Once George Bush Sr. closed those bases and plants down, many black people were out of jobs. It's economical equality that needs to be address today.
