Sorry Danzac, I accidentally erased your question:Question for ya (definitely a beginner question). I've been practicing simple songs to get my tongue blocking down and I'm not to bad at it— but the low notes I find troublesome, and now that I'm trying to bend I find it hard to keep my tongue in place. Do players keep their tongue block while bending, or do they move to a whistle position? Please repost the question.

Danzac, I have not attempted to master the tonque blocking tecnique. I am sorry I can not answer your question. If they keep their tongue in place, and can still bend notes they are much more accomplished than I am.

thankx a lot ... !! i saw numerous videos on bending... and i found ur way most effective and easy...!! i've got hohner's silverstar(A) and i'm not at all satisfied wid it..!!! How is Hohner Special20???

Rajat, Glad to hear it helped. I usually use a Hohner Special 20 and they usually sound OK when they are new. Sometimes a brand new Special 20 will have very weak reads off the bat. Buying them these days is like playing Russian roulette. Sometimes you get a dud, but once you play it you can not return it. I like the sound of the Special 20.

All of my songs have bends in them. After you practice the simple bending technique eventually you will not have to think about it. The bends will come naturally.
