The lazers were from the crowd, waynes wife/road crew were dressed up as superhero's and walked around handing out lazer pens before the gig started)

The Lips do all kinds of cool stuff at their shows. They played a show here in OKC once and handed out radios to everyone. The entire show was only able to be heard in the headphones.

I would have to say, it doesn't beat the 2004 Coachella show. He got in a big bubble and walked on top of the crowd with it. At the end of the show, he said "Let's sing happy birthday to Beck while I pour as much fake blood as possible on my head." One of the best live acts eva.
