4 the record, I love Pat Steir's original works from the 70' and 80's and am one of 220 lucky people to own an original "Kyoto Chrysanthemum" woodblock print. Her recent work, however, belongs in the "Emperor's New Clothes" collection! Come on, people, she's laughing at you! (I believe this is her point with this work.To expose the sycophants) Not much "artistic talent" in these pieces. She is just trying to capitalize on her fame and cash in. Even "Waterfall" had more thought than this!
i like her work she's crazy. its like every stab in the canvas represents her husband fucking around on her. everyone knows. poor patty. she be a better artist without him but she rather have the status. like all women. she should be with me, i love older women.
James, THANKS for showing this show. These are by far Pat's best work. I can't wait to see what she is doing next. I hope she can grow with this new almost minimalist color workings, you can tell she worked for quite a while on them, especially with the layering of color.
Thank you for your earnest and prompt reply, you really seem to be a man who practices what you preach. What is your home for viewing your artwork online?

James,
I really appreciate these videos, as someone who doesn't fly and wishes he could be in New York City more often. Thanks so much.
