you tuned your guitar to Standard B giving up the high E .. and you played the high E notes on a higher position on the high B and the really high E notes you played an octave lower on the high B am I right ?? anywho I should try that and BTW really nice playing all of ur cover are spot on congratz ;)

@dimehead666 yea man, i know how you feel. when I do a cover, I want to be sure I'm as close to the tuning and sound to the song as possible.

my philosophy on guitar videos on youtube: if you fuck up on an original a little bit (sound, tuning, etc.) it's barely noticable, BUT if you fuck up on another persons work (especially riffage - I don't think tuning is such as issue since people find ways to tweak the pitch of the song on computer), then people notice big time.
