dude i am pissed that this dude got the cover. I am a Pens fan but i would rather see osgood or zetterburg, umberger, crosby, jagar, ppl that to me are good enough to be on the cover.

ok i guess i shouldnt have said i was pissed. I am disappointed because i didnt hear his name when the playoffs started. I have never seen him play but that is in my opinion. I think people that are household names like Avery, or Ovechkin

Crosby, Zetterberg, Umberger, Jagar should get the cover before anybody else, but in my opinion Dion isnt the biggest candidate for the cover. But i have to give him credit for being good enough to be on the cover.

You've never seen him play, yet you have an opinion? Everyone "has an opinion", but if you voice it in public, prepare to have it scrutinized. Dion may not be the popular, marquee player... but he embodies everything that the NHL (should) stand for. Plus it's just a freaking video game.

Yes, EA Sports release NHL 09 for Xbox360 PS3+2 and at least for PC. Not sure if PC and PS2 using the next gen controls and graphics - but the release it

the release is 9th of September 2008 in the USA and CAN. Europe most 2 or 3 days later - the last years 11th of September

at least a german game magazine reports about the multiplay and point out it doesn't matter which platform it is - there is a 6vs6 - maybe if all versions have the same base a multiplay across the platforms would be able ;)
