LIke the writer bellow I get chills up and down my spine - maybe for different reasons though... My dream is to get that one BIG ONE and walk in throw $100,000 down on the bed , look her in the eyes and turn around and off...
i get chills on my spine when i hear the crowd sing along...this is a special song from a special album and it feels even more special that its a rare one...Born to Run was a masterpiece it was his magnus opus with The Wild the Innocent and The E Street Shuffle close behind
I was there that night. We couldn't believe we got to hear this and Jungle Land back to back. It was probably the best or second best show I've seen of his.
I would have loved to be there for that show. Meeting and Jungle Land are my favorites. I loved David Sancious when he played the keyboards back in the day!
Please don't put REO Speedwagon in the same league as The E Street Band. I love Cronin and the boys but let's be real. They couldn't hold The Boss' jock. All hail "the best damn band in the land" (sorry OSU. you're #2)

This is, possibly, the best piece of poetry written in my lifetime. Possibly. And the bitch is The Boss and the Band hardly ever perform it.
Perhaps, just perhaps, that is what makes it so very, very special.

Mighty Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band is tied w/ Reo Speedwagon led by Kevin Cronin as greatest bands ever.
