  • Hahaha how fucking old is that video? You still were allowed to smoke on planes.. good old times ^^

  • which airport is this?

  • @devilreaper999

    Hannover, Germany

  • which airport is this?

  • When was this ? ? ?

Thats an old colour of Condor

  • this is one of the best take off films i have seen

  • I just love the sound of those engines...

  • Is this an A321 or 757?

  • its a 757.

were you thrown off by the "ding" just after takeoff, too?

  • @brownbrownson its signal "seatbelts can be opened" ;)

  • some moron still cannot make the difference between 777 and 747 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! come on, we are now in 2010

  • lol at everyone panicking over what engines are used. get a life!

  • This is a 757-300 with RB-211-535E4-B engines. The 757-300 was offered with the Rolls Royce or Pratt & Whitney options only. Rolls Royce engines of that generation had a smaller diameter than their PW and GE counterparts. They also had a more impressive buzz-saw noise at full power.

  • you can tell it's the -300 by the shadow

  • rauchen...??? welches jahr ist das?

  • I kind of miss the high quality videos flightlevel360 used to run...I was all over passenger view videos there. Oh well, there's more TO's and landings on YouTube anyway. The shadow of the aircraft on the ground reminded me of one FL350 video where a jetliner was coming in for a landing, and the videographer followed the craft's shadow for a good three minutes right down to the runway.

  • yea, i feel that same way about FL350..

  • yes it's a 757-300

  • I like the sound of the engine--a cross between a old refridgerator and an electric razor.

  • yea they call it the "buzzsaw" rb-211

  • more like a wood planer than a buzzsaw! Great sound! I think I'd like to also be in the back of an Ilyushin IL-62 between the quadruple "whistlers" (on a short flight, tho'!)

  • Die wahre (und fazinierende) Geschwindigkeit sieht man unten anhand des Schattens am Boden.

  • This is a Condor Boeing 757-300.

  • thats a boeing 737 becuase 737's onnly have 1 type of engine

  • thats a 757 powered by RR RB211's (i think), 737's are widebody aircraft, this aircraft is a narrowbody indicating it is a 757.

  • 737s are narrowbodied

  • oh well then perhaps im wrong, thanks :)

  • 737 ain't widebody. Get your facts straight. I think you mean 777 or 747?

  • You are right about the RR RB211-353F engines on the 757 but wrong about a 737 being a wider aircraft. 737s & 757s are both the same width, both are 6-abreast with a single walking aisle running through the centre. You are being tricked into an optical illusion as the 737 is actually a much shorter plane. The only widebodys Boeing have are the 767, 777 & 747.

  • whoops I mean RB211-535E4-B engines. I think the 535Fs are on 747s & the Tupolev Tu-204/214 (757s arch Russian rival)

  • @1ns4ne1d10t no, i think the Rolls Royce RB211-524s are used on the B747-4s

  • @brownbrownson no they put pratt and whitnets PW 4056

  • @invertballer12 on what? 747s? the -400 also uses the Rolls Royce engines as well as the GE and PWs.

  • @brownbrownson yeah im looking at the delta airlines 747 and that is what they have on there 747 400

  • @invertballer12 oh, i see. i figured a majority of 747s used the GE CF6s.

  • @tizzy070787 yes, and that only type is called the CFM56 series. the 757-2/300 use the PW2000s or Rolls Royce RB211-535E4Bs..

  • rolls royce engines very nice!

  • hey look there i am on the ground lol nice vid

  • DIe guten alten Condor Farben... Nice to see the wings lift up right before leaving the ground!!

  • nice video, gotta love those rolls engines, crank up the sound peeps.

  • Now THAT was a rush - nice camera work.

  • love the sound of those rolls royce engines, beautiful.

  • gr8 take off, was it a boeing757-200 0r 300 series? lol

  • You can tell from the shadow, the length of it indicates it's a -300.

  • 757 with the Rolls engines. Very nice!
