Erik Walden did well yesterday for the Packers in that huge make or break game against the Bears. He started at ROLB for an injured Frank Zombo and posted 11 tackles and 2 sacks. He was one of the stars of the day for the Packers.
@symxfan just read a report that after the game was reviewed, he was credited with 16 tackles, 3 were sacks. he was also nfc defensive player of the week. we just snagged this dude off the street like a month ago. hope we found us a good one.
I went to High School with this guy. I didn't even know he was in the NFL until I talked to a friend the other day and he was like did you know erik got drafted and I was like what really. I think he's the first person from our school to make it pro.
You are wrong. The bench press test is always with 225lbs which is two 45lbs plates on each side. You don't know what you are talking about and sound like a dumb ass. Good day.
That was called an observation, stupid fuck, I said they "look like 25 lb plates" you fucking idiot... that's called an observation... and here's another observation, you've clearly never been in a gym and clearly don't know what a 45 lb. plate looks like. I hit 225 for 27 in March so I should know what a 45 lb plate looks like, assclown.
well that was 225 but fucking A he was bouncing it off his chest, which means he wasnt using as much stregnth to push it back up, but whatev i like the cowboys, all the way
Every guy that becnchs for their pro day or the combine bounces it off their chest. They are just trying to hit a lot of reps they are not worried about form.
i realize that but taking it from maybe a coach's eyes or view maybe they dont care but to me its just like using bounce and not your strength isn't showing me you have ALOT of strenght.
Erik Walden played the entire last season with a Turf Toe injury thats why he recorded 2 sacks. Year before (Jr. Yr) he had 12 sacks. So maybe this could be a good backup perhaps.
Very disappointed that Dallas DRAFTED this guy in the 6th. Could have gotten him with as free agent. I would take LSU's Ali Highsmith or Luke Sanders over him.
i think there was a reason why the GREAT ali smith was UNDRAFTED is bc he is slower than my dead grand mother and hes 230 pounds SMALL as fuck... this guy is a fast 255 pounder that will make a difference on special teams so shut up b4 you open your stupid mouth
It is Ali HIGHSMITH. All you have to do is watch his game film to know he was not slow playing for THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! He was injured when he ran for the scouts. Stupid, I dont think so Scooter. I live just outside Murfreeboro and I have never heard of this guy.
you must not have watched mtsu play very often then boss. This guy was an animal for them. Look up conference sack records and you'll see his name towards the top.
How can you watch them when they are rearely on TV? Did he not have only 2 or 3 sacks this past year? I hope he is a major sleeper because I have been a Cowboys fan for 30 plus years. Also, I never heard his name when MTSU played LSU, but then again I never heard Vernon Golston's name in the national championship game either.
they played oklahoma and louisville here recently....but hey man i dont know i value your opinion but a lot of people get paid lots of money to decide who gets the money.
Probably because you keep up with Gator nation and other SEC schools. There was this one guy that was little known from the Sun Belt Con. named DeMarcus Ware. He turned out to a pretty damn good sack machine for the Boys'!
Actually I am HUGE LSU fan and from Louisiana. I attended Northeast Louisiana University, which is now in the Sunbelt as the University of Louisiana @ Monroe. I know about those players. Ware was a high 1st rounder and everyone had heard of him...Walden, everyone on the DC boards had no clue who he was.
Eriks a beast!!! Squeelers were lucky he couldn't play in the bowl!!

Man what a waste of a pick by the Cowboys, why did we draft another LB istead of a safety or a QB? I didn't understand this move back then or now...

Those look like 25 lb plates...so that's 26 reps of 145 lbs.... whoopee, sometimes I warm up with 135 and go to 50 or until I get sleepy.
