  • plz can anyone tell me where i can get fine bronze weel in canada,i was only able to find fine steel wool

  • where would u recommend to buy a ready made set to install in a car from?

  • If you really don't want to build one, you should go to pjck1 here on youtube.

  • @OriginalUncleNemo

didn't find it. can i get a link?

also ive watch LOTS of youtube about hho and urs seem to be the best but none of them talk about adding a battery or capacitor or amplifying to amp up hho production u touch on it a bit in some comments

dreally want to apply this to a cheap car i bought just to do this well i would like to put 2 of them in my car combined with a electric 4 lb turbo set up that i built and had good luck with off another car

  • Woops, sorry, it's pjckac1. Search for him and send him a message. Tell him that Mark from My Energy sent you.

  • How safe do you think this kind of set up on a car is? If you were to have an accident would the cell blow up?

  • It is safe, if installed properly. If in an accident, water would spill on the ground, and that is it.

  • What do you need to get more hydrogen? more volterage or more amperage?

  • Increase wattage for more production in any cell. We have tested other theories on voltage, pulsed voltage and the like. Increased wattage increases HH HH OO production.

  • But without a pwm wouldn't you create a lot of heat? I built a few of these and would be interested in knowing how to dial in amperage without a pwm. Thanks

  • No matter what anyone tells you, wattage is directly related to BTU's. If you use electricity, the cell heats up...period. More wattage = faster heating of the water. Circulating the fluid, or circulating it through a radiator is the best way to keep it cool. That is, if you want to keep it cool. I get far better results with a hot steamy cell than with a cold cell. PWM's only help to control your amp draw. I design and build them, that is all they do.

  • It's so stupid..

  • real nice job. loods and works great.

  • Congrats. I dont have the guts to do that. This is the only vid ive seen where someone actually lights the arrester to test. I agree the arrestor does stay wet due to the vapor stream.

  • What happens if your power supply fails,as you are testing it there, the pressure of the gas is helping stop flashback, but if the pressure stopped for some reason you would be left with a line full of gas behind the arrester. Try turning off the power with your flame going....that would be a conclusive test.

  • That test has been conducted. The 1 psi forward pressure has absolutely no effect on the results. Since HH OO detonation travels at such a high rate of speed, your gas flow would have to be enormous (5000LPM) to have any effect on flashback. This is a non-issue.

  • You can do the same thing using a plain heavy duty stainless steel pot scouring pad. No need to try to find bronze mesh or any other expensive material.

  • You should always use a bubbler and an arrester.

  • Just bought a prototype system from a guy and he uses only one way valves everywhere. I bet there will be a few future explosions. haha I think this is the best bet in line with any line entering your engine if you can find that bronze mesh that is. I hear its hard to find.

  • You can get the bronze wool on e b a y , or at some online marinas (salt water regions). Be warned....it isn't that cheap.

  • so get rid of the bubbler and use a flashback arrester? is this correct?

  • I do not use a bubbler, only the arrestor and a one way valve. You can do whatever you'd like. I like the water vapor entering the intake.

  • I'm watching this video, waiting for the 'BOOM'. Don't forget to keep that thing WET! Have you tested the 'arrester' dry?

  • Yes, I have tested it dry and it works for unsustained flashes. In the vehicle, however, the arrestor stays moist due to vapor from my cell. Just one more benefit to NOT filtering the vapor from your cell.

  • By filtering, do you mean using a bubbler?

  • Ya, I blew up my bubbler that was made out of a washer bottle.I was testing out those .50 chech valves ,.....good thing i did not have vinegar in there at the time!!!WHAT a BOOM!!!

  • ya I remember when I blew up my first bubbler... then the 2nd. It was loud. Sounded like i lit off an m-80 in the basement >.> Made a flashback arrestor from copper mesh... didn't work. Gotta make something else. In the mean time I built a PVC pipe that the line passes through. Inside is a bunch of the copper mesh i had. The top is covered with some plastic film Thats secured using a zip tie and tape. That way if the flash back arrestor fails the film blows off and saves my bubbler.

  • Go down to your local industrial supply and buy a "real" flash back arrestor for a cutting torch set-up. it will cost you about $18.00 but thats better than loosing some vital body parts...Better safe than sorry

  • this works just as well and costs $6. I have had it installed for 4 months without a problem.

  • ...Uummm , do you realize how hard it is to find bronze wool? What about fiberglass cloth?

  • Sure, airators, cigarette butts, bronze wool. They all work and they all burn. Unless you can find something porous that doesn't burn at 3080 degrees celcius (the temperature of burning hydrogen and oxygen). You should experiment yourself, blow a few things up while you learn. Then, report your results, just like we are doing :)

  • Ceramic + Heat + liquid = detonation. Ceramic is very dense and does not burn easily. But when liquid is added to ceramic, it Disintegrates. Ceramic is also completely non-resistant to impact. I wouldn't use it, but maybe it will work for you.

  • I say....LOL You don't have to use it, but if you have multiple and repeated flashes, the bronze wool will start to burn. A little water goes a long way and the vinegar keeps it clean.

  • Excellent work.

  • Fine Bronze Wool is available on Ebay for ~ 8 for three pads including shipping. The marinas near my home do not carry it. I'm told that marinas in salt water locations should carry it.

  • are you afraid? he moves the match each time?!?!?if u leave it there does it still work?

  • LOL

  • That is funny. :=)

  • Very nice. That's the exact arrestor I've been wanting to make....just having a bit of trouble finding fine bronze wool locally. And I do believe water vapor will be drawn into the unit and keep it wet inside. Even with my water trap (in front of my bubbler), enough water vapor gets through to steam up the line all the way to the plenum. Nice job!

  • Thanks Mad, I enjoy your videos and respect the work you are doing.

  • Very cool flsashback arrestor test. Now we know it works :) Water and vineager?? eeh to soak it? Or to remain in there?? Didnt quite catch that.

keep fighting for a better planet

  • I tried to run it dry and it did work. But, after a few back flashes, the bronze wool began to burn. I think, with the GEN running on vacuum and pulling some water vapor through the arrestor, there won't be a need for re-soaking the bronze wool. You could probably just use water and if you keep the arrestor parallel to the ground, it will stay soaked. I only used vinegar and water as directed by sirHOAX and.....it worked.
