When I was little, about 3 or 4,I remember doing this at my tap school,in Columbus Ohio, and e did a lot of skits from the mickey mouse club, and i loved it , it was sooo much fun!But it was lot of hard work,i loved this, but i stopped tap dancing years agoe and ive losed my talent and im so sad about that, but i still try to get it back.
I've been looking for the video of the Mouseketeers singing "We Are The Merry Mouseketeers all the way through. Can anyone else find that for me. I can't believe that I still know the words after all these years. When I heard the instrumental in this video, I was hoping they would sing it all the way through. Brings back some wonderful memories of my childhood. It's a shame that there is no longer good entertainment for children. Maybe some of us baby boomers can get something started.
Don't know what was wrong with Hollywood back then but when her contract ran out at Disney, they should have snatched Darleen up and put her in musicals...she had a fantastic voice!
You're absolutey right! Darleen was by far the MOST TALENTED of all the Mouseketeers! Even, far more talented than Annette. However, luck was NEVER on her side! What a SAD SCENARIO!
@Snookiebutt : I agree Darleen was the most talented but who knows what went on behind the scenes? In later years she was in and out of jail so her stage persona may have been much different than she was in real life. Sad, really.
Darlene made her parents proud all right ... she served two years for defrauding legitimate parties to a class-action lawsuit ... unlike Dana Plato her nemesis wasn't drugs, it was a guy called Jerry!
I love it. Sharon married a man named Dalton Lee Thomas. he is my uncle and i would like to meet him someday. My name is Robie and his brother Jimmy is my dad. mother virginia(deceased)who k nows maybe theyll see this.
I wonder why the four Mouseketeers at the beginning of this video (Linda, Don, Lynn, and Bonnie) weren't put into "roll call" with the veteran Mouseketeers. These four had as much t.v. time as the others and were really talented.
The kids were very talented. The producers made Bobby learn to ride the unicycle for another episode and I guess they used that new skill heere too. Don is Don Grady from My Three Sons. Doreen had the best voice, but was convicted of a felony later as an adult which was widely publicized. Cubby went on to have a great 40 year career as a professional drummer.
You're confusing Doreen with Darlene. Doreen never got in any trouble with the law, but she did do a nude pictorial for Gallery Magazine in the late 70s. I've got to say that in her 30s, she was quite a looker, and for all I know, might still be one in her 60s (I haven't seen her recently).
@Nashcountryboy Don Grady's sister, Lani O'Grady, played Mary on Eight is Enough', and tragically died of drug-related issues in 2001, around the time of the World Trade Center disaster.

Would you happen to have the full "Hi To You" song or "Fun with Music" opener?

I read that Cheryl Hodges died last year. I was so sorry to hear that.
Karen was my favorite. She was in a car accident years ago and has been in a wheel chair ever since. She became a psychologist.
Darlene became a very good country singer.
Don went on to star in My Three Sons in the 60's. He played Robbie.
Cubby became a successful drummer.
Annette is very nice, but straight-laced. She wrote an autobiography that didn't sell because there was nothing naughty in it.

Steeped in the 1950s world of media, but it still holds up (unlike "Lawrence Welk"!).
