Second, the only thing i can think of concerning the statement to press is the fiasco during the campaign trail when she said the press was unfairly attacking her family while keeping away from the obama family. I voted against Palin because she didn't lay out any real ideas and when she spoke it seemed scripted at best, I'm just being honest and i know that can sometimes be hurtful but when it comes to the president of this country they need to give real, grounded answers or I'm voting for someone else.

Actually Obama clarified his stance on and even admitted they were a poor choice of words. After all if we can forgive McCain for calling asians 'gooks' after he admitted 'slip of tongue' or bush for his horrible intel that led to this war, then we can forgive obama for this mistake. Also i follow politics, the only thing obama seems to be wavering on the taxation of health benefits. Everything else, the second stimulus, hate crimes,etc seem to on track. So what promises did he break?

Weekly addresses are not a new concept, all the past presidents have give some kind of frequent address to the nation. Bush, like his predecessors, gave weekly radio addresses. Obama smiling, not on my list of concerns. I have never seen him smile when he talked about the war, i know i keep up with these things. Also you still have yet to clarify HOW palin would be an improvement.
