  • What about the rear glass with defroster wires?

  • HEY YOUR A GREAT BIG PHONY!!!

  • OMG THIS VIDEO IS SOOO FAKE PEOPLE DONT WATCH THIS PLEASEE!!!!

  • VIDEO IS NOT 100% TRUE, PLEASE REMVOE!

  • ITs not that easy very hard

  • how about do a video removing a window tint that's been in a car for 7 yrs to see if it comes that easylly ,

  • Tint doesn't come off this easy. Please visit my page for a GOOD video on how to remove window tint.

  • The easiest way to remove the "glue" of the tint, is to use ammonia. It balls up and is easily removed.

  • Very interesting, I can do that now.

  • go to walmart or kmart and buy a $25 steamer... steam up the tint and gently remove. clean up any excess glue with some goop, or white vinegar, you'll be fine.

  • @kellytaylor407 yep, it seems like the tint in the video was already soaked with solution so it came off real easy. try tint thats been on for several years, it'll come off in patches. the only way i got it off a junkyard window replacement for my car was with a small steamer. cut a slit in the middle of the tint, inject the steam directly onto the window, blast away

  • If only it were that easy :/

  • @OHHGEEE exactly..... =-=

  • I Dont use RAGS on my windows..

  • This video is bunch of bull crap.

  • okay this video doesn't help lol

  • Goo Gone and a razor is wonderful for the glue residue. Just spray it on and let it soak for a couple of minutes and it scrapes right off.

  • You cannot just pull the tint off, it needs to be heated up using a heat gun or hair dryer. A steam gun is even better. This must be done SLOWLY too, as therer is a few layers of film, and if done in a rush, the under layer will stay on the glass and its a right pain to remove.

  • ok, what about the tints that have been there for like 8 years? you know? like that ones that are turning purple? make a video about that!

  • @50N1C800M jst buy a little scrapper that has a sharp knife on in and ull peel the tint off in less than a hour, thats how i did it on tint that was there for 19yrs and it was really easy

  • lol thanks i did it and it worked.....was a bit of a pain....but i did it......thanks.....

  • ha yup that 4 sure

  • @50N1C800M i meant razor not knife my bad

  • wtf? i had to spend almost 3 hrs to remove the fucking tint. You just did it as if it was never there before

  • This reminds me of fast food commercials. In the videos, the burgers are SO perfect looking. Nice round bun, everything where is should be; sitting pretty. Almost looks fake its so nice.

When you get the (%&# thrown at you in the window, you noticed they seemingly placed it under a MACK TRUCK and ran it over, then backed up over it...

This video is good for a newbie tint installer that JUST installed tint about 10 minutes ago and needs to remove it.

  • Them burgers you see in them ads, well, it may have taken hundreds of them to get that perfect shot, & some special touches to boot, but that advertising peeps, snickers.

  • STAINLESS STEEL RAZOR ONLY ONLY GO IN 1 direction on use only one side of blade this guy is a shitdiot

  • NOT!!!

  • try tint thats been on for som years NOT this easy and this guy is a gacy lol......

  • Yea if were only this easy.

  • Comment removed

  • to remove window tint is messie and you have to be carefull not to scrash the window with the razor blade... the easys way is after taken off the film.. spay some 409 and with the razor blade scrape all the glue .. and for the adges use a cutting nife be carefull not to cut any of the ruber.. and alot of water with dish soap good luck

  • That film wasn't even attached. All they did was lay a piece of tint with the liner on the glass.

Removing film is usually a big mess (glue residue). Get some Windex with ammonia D which works pretty well in getting that glue off.

  • that shit looks too easy.. it took me a week to remove my fucking tint

  • fail

  • ronson lighter fluid also removes the glue residue without harm

  • Spray the tint with ammonia, cover it with a black garbage bag and set it in direct sunlight for 20 to 30 minutes. I promise you if the window is to hot to hold your hand on before you pull the tint off that you wont even need to clean it before you retint it.

  • Tint does NOT come off that easy

  • that clearly had to be a static cling tint cause tint that has glue doesnt come off that easily

  • trust me it aint that easy...it takes lik an hour for each window maybe more

  • Does anyone know how to remove tint glue. I remove tint from my car and the glue has been on for a few days. Any suggestions...

  • goo gone something like that they sale it at kragen..it works great ..the problem is its a small bottle

  • BETTER TIP:

After pulling off the tint, wipe the window down with a paper towel soaked in nail polish remover. The glue comes right off with no effort.

  • no dis but the film u removed still had the clear liner and left no glue on the glass but i guess it'll work not the best or right way but it'll work considering there's glue on the glass cuz ur trappinhg the vapors peace out mytints

  • Im sorry but i dont use RAGS on my cars!!

PPL Use a Handheld steamer to do this job!! much easier takes care of glue and residue

  • use that method if the tint was bought from Walmart! Profesional window tint does NOT come off that easily!!!!

  • wat a fk was that its all bs

  • use a hammer instead

  • lmfao

  • just pull film off then soak a rag in cellulose thinners and put it onto window for 30 secs or so then just use a blade to get glue off .. it comes straight off then poss a bit of normal car polish on window .. has worked for me lots of times

  • DONT DO THIS, just go get a steamer and use that.

It takes off the glue and film.

  • ok well i fuckin used. lacquer thinner, alcohol, goof off and now a razor blade and all i have now is the glue and shit on my window wtf do i do know??

  • just take a razer blade to scrap.

  • or use nail polish remove i HEARD that works..

  • Using that or other solven based chemicals makes a big sticky mess

  • are you kidding? wtf was that?

  • Took me 4 1/2 hours to remove the front two on my car. :( then my g/f took over and did one back window before she said, "i'm tired" and frowned...... 13 year old tint is FUCKING hard to remove :(

I still got the two mini windows and a back window :(

    HELP!

  • damn! that fucked up

  • thats not removing a window tint.

the hard part with removing it is having the glue stick to the film. that tint wasnt even stuck to the window

  • I used a hammer and replaced windows for $25 from some old cars I found at the back of Jethro's farm, did not fit perfect but duct tape sorted the gaps out.

  • exactly, hahaha

  • X2 on that.

  • hahahahahahahaha

  • i have a question i guess when my brother took off his window tint there was like tape still on the window or something sticky can i use a razor to get that off?

  • Yeah, tape. You fucking idiot, it's called glue. It's purpose is to hold things together. In this case the tint to the window. "Something sticky" hahaha.

  • this shit is bss im tryna take my tinit out my civic and its takeing for ever

  • Buy a small steamer to remove the window tint.

  • you don't know what you are doing do you there's no need to waste 20 min just start scraping off use soapy water the best thing to use if you can get it is tint glue remover

  • wow worst advice i ever received! i just stripped the tint from my car and its not this easy. i used a heat blower and a razor. work perfect

  • Dude fuck this video...no offense...use a fucking 30 dollar steamer from wal mart lmfao

  • this is the stupidest advice i've ever seen.

this is NOT how to remove window film.

  • Whew! I just removed the 12 year old tint frm my pickup trucks door windows. Took almost an hour per door! That stuff was tough!

  • my question is would the blade scratch up the glass really bad when trying to remove the glue or residue??

  • not if u do it right... it's just a hastle

  • Razor blade and soapy solution is the way to do this but if the film has been on for a while it can take quite a few minutes effort to get it off clean. You can also get trouble if the film sticks underneath the rubber gasket.

  • clearcrap good tip. I also really like using dishsoap and water solution or baby shampoo with a razor blade.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA HOW FUCKING STUPID!!!!

get an old rusty razor blade, and an

    "ALL PURPOSE SPRAY CLEANER"

(wich im purty sure only has one use....TO FUCKING CLEAN THINGS)

i dont know about you but the tint film on my car isnt just in the middle of the window its on teh whole window....

  • Vinegar and a razer blade works better especially when your working with extremely old tint.

  • is it a joke or what
