It's simple - I did it to show the ways how malware attack the system. OA is a classical HIPS software (plus FW) which via pop-ups notifications shows exactly paths of malware infection.

Well, you have to understand that DW is not detection/removal tool, but Prevention software. The point is - if you had DW before, then Virut won't be able to infect your computer. Also please note that Virut infects all files with ".exe" extension! - so your audio and pics should be pretty safe and you can backup them on another drive.
