He was one of the best, if not the BEST, teen actor in the 80s. But being a child actor back then meant getting too much power and plenty of drugs. He slipped up and never fully recovered. Now he's at peace. RIP Corey Haim

Haimwas a struggling actor who was trying to go through the painful process of putting back together his acting career. Because I'm human and have also stumbled and made my own mistakes, I could sympathize with Haim and had only the best wishes for him. It's too easy in the line of work that he was in to have people tear you down and feed into your insecurities. Corey Haim was NOT a joke. He was an incredibly gifted actor who lost his way and was trying to redirect his compass.

Few more things- One, as far as we know his mother said he had flu like symptoms for a few days. Two, no illegal drugs were found in his house by police, just 4 prescription bottles. Three, nobody still on tons of drugs could to that cig flip first try. And four, if he did die from prescription drug overdose when are the doctors going to start doing jail time for prescribing stuff unnecessarily?
