@SamFisherCT The only poll that cited anything close to those numbers was a single Rasmussen poll in April. It has been universally dismissed as an inaccurate and/or manipulated sampling. The same polling service found him finishing 5th in a GOP primary the same week. No reputable service (including Rasmussen, post April) has had similar findings or considers him a serious candidate. Fact check before hitting reply.

The Ron Paul Revolution is still going on today now that people decided to jump on the real conservative bandwagon to try to slow spending of the government (IE: Tea Parties). It's a little too late though. Maybe instead of listening to Sean Hannity early in the primaries talking on "electability" which helped get John McDemocrat in the Republican seat and lose the election for us, people should just vote with their conscience for the right candidate.

The only reason that 3rd party candidates don't have a chance (for the most part) is because people have been duped into believing that they are throwing their vote away if they vote for anything other than the big two. I believe Ron Paul (if he ran 3rd party) actually has a better chance of running and winning now given the recent disapproval of the two who have been dominating the polls for the past 150 years.

The same polling service found him finishing 5th in a GOP primary the same week. No reputable service (including Rasmussen, post April) has had similar findings or considers him a serious candidate. Thanks for reporting the obvious. The Ron Paul Revolution is still going on today now that people decided to jump on the real conservative bandwagon to try to slow spending of the government (IE: Tea Parties). It's a little too late though. Maybe instead of listening to Sean Hannity early in the primaries talking on "electability" which helped get John McDemocrat in the Republican seat and lose the election for us, people should just vote with their conscience for the right candidate.

The problem is that the man in the video is a bit short-sighted. Looking back now, I don't think Ron Paul himself ever thought he was going to be elected President. The campaign wasn't a revolution to the White House. It was just the begining to get his message out. The Revolution, even today, is still in its' early stages, in my opinion. I'm sure many will disagree, but that's how I view it.

The point is not whether drugs have any useful purpose, the point is the government has no business telling me what I can do with my property aka my body, there is no gray area there, its my property, nobody else's, I do what I want with it. Paying taxes to fund a national defense or prisons for the people to dangerous to live freely in society (not to prison someone for smoking a plant or a rock) is one thing. Paying taxes so that the president can bail out the mortgages of irresponsible.......

But, Paul doesn't give a damn about your right to smoke, he just wants the federal gov't to spend less money, even to the extent that the federal gov't should largely cease to exist!

Problem is, far to many Americans who actually give a damn about this country & who wouldn't stand for the reinstatement of slavery, the abolishment of the Civil Rights Laws, the reinstatement of the Jim Crow Laws, the reinstatement of the Black Codes, ...much of which might not actually come to pass if so much of the federal gov't were abolished, but the ppl who want the south to rise again want the federal gov't abolished so that those specific things can be abolished & reinstated!
