Hey does anyone know on which album i can find this? It is simply fantastic! I have been playing spain myself for sometime, but this really helps to develop. Thank you very much for the upload ;)
WOW! I Always Love This Song.... reminds me of my college days in Manila Kung Saan Saang Club Napupunta Just to Find a good singer and musician.... Regards to my Uncle Kiko.. sa kanya ako natuto ng Jazz...And a Good Musician Too, He does it for Love of Music, not for muney.
this is when singers understood that they were still supposed to be musicians, not just some fuckin pop icon. don't get me wrong, Al jarreau was also a pop icon, but he kept his integrity and passion for music intact. that's what singers (and musicians in general) lack today, is an honest passion for music. singers today will tell you that their whole lives they've wanted to be famous, a "star". know what al jarreau would say? my whole life ive wanted to be a part of music. THATS the difference.
@evenbass Well, Wikipedia says it's Abraham Laboriel. And that's clearly Steve Gadd on the drums. But the rest of the personnel list is long so it's hard to tell who plays on what track.
This song is rare.I heard it a few weeks ago for the first time. The words are good and the rythm is fantastic!it looks like a festival song.A romantic but festival song.
Hey, i can't seem to work out the notes for 'Yesterday I can say, I get a kick every time they play, that Spain again' could someone with a better ear help out just trying to work out the melody on guitar. Cheers, Rick
@flossythedog Don't you know that the Ultimate Guitar website is your friend? I can't seem to post URLs here but google them, I found one or two good tabs of this tune.

@evenbass The bassist was definitely Abe Laboriel, Latin electric bass is his speciality.
