I'm allergic to cats and I'm thinking of having the Siberian kitten. But my parents do not want to because they are indoor cat. Does anyone have Siberian cats outdoors because I like this very much. I mean without a cage. like u can open door for them and let them go there freely. Thank you
@pronunciasian Because we had one cat before. And she died about month ago. We always let her go out when ever she like and freely. no enclosure. We play with it at the outside and always when we went to fish, she was waiting there. She always slept on the grass and come over when called. My parents want cat like that. Playing with it at outside. And they think that indoor cat has alot of work and always when kitten are making noises at night you cant put that outside. Thats the problem

@sgrouge those are siberian kittehs they are quite similar to maine coon but siberian are a bit smaller, a bit more fluffy and less allergic for their owners. :) All kittehes are intelligent and sweet! =^.^=

My husband is allergic to cats, which is why we chose this breed, and he's definitely allergic to our cat, though not as allergic as he is to other cats. Luckily we get to keep our kitty, but my husband has to take allergy meds every day and use a netti pot.
@narbs22 SIberian cats have less of the allergen but some people still react. The best way is to visit a breeder if you can, and see if you react. But that is still not a guarantee since you can develop new allergies to anything in time.

They look so happy and energetic, heehee~ I want one so badly, but my mom refuses to even try. :( I have severe allergies to cats and dogs, so I can't have either one, so I was so excited when I heard these kitties were hypoallergenic, but like I said, she won't give it a chance. And she always lectures me about what the allergist said and stuff so yeah. I'm tired of trying but at the same time I don't wanna give up :/

Adorable! I have 2 Siberians myself and one is solid gray a/k/a Graycee Czarina and a black silver tabby a/k/a Nikolai Aleksei. They are cousins and gorgeous - and I don't sneeze or wheeze. I couldn't be happier. Never tire of watching anything about them. The song makes me cry. Marcia
