Believe me, the vocaloid technology is one of the most important quantum leap in this field. Impact of this technology is bigger than even YAMAHA guys probably think.

There's some precedent set by this, truly. You could synthesize any instrument nowadays with technology with relative ease, but the human voice, because of the fact that it's HUMAN, was assumed to be much harder.
