All the scum of the earth need to listen to this song. The sperm donors that have contribute to fathering a child. It doesn't make you a man nor does it make you a dad. Being there to watch the child grow up and caring enough to rise a child makes a man a man. Showing love and compassion working hard to provide for the child makes a man what he is. One of the Chi-lites greatest under-rated hits. This should be played daily or weekly so our children can humm and sing quality songs with a directive purpose and humbling expressive meanings. This song, "Patches' and 'Color Him Father," are going to be added in my pro-man, real fathers, real men repitoire, to teach my children and grands to sing, and to uplift and respect our loving, and wonderful men, fathers, brothers, and sons. When I was younger, I had wished that daddy had been a father, but my my grandfather was the best thing that could have happened in my life.
