I'm trying to think of a quote of Harvey's to say here but his whole speech is quote-worthy.

I mean obviously, he is in the wrong but he had been fucked over good and proper and it seemed like it was only him who it had happened to.

Batman is a shadowy hero, what could wrong with his life?

Gordon's wife and beautiful kids were all safe and happy when it was his office that was corrupt indirectly causing all the shit that happened to Harvey.

All it took was 'a little push' from the Joker. 10/10

It sounds similar to Two-Face's theme in the Antimated Series. The slow, methodical, lurching melody. Two-Face is a different kind of monster to The Joker, more deliberate, more self-righteous and more terrifying because he truly believes he's the good guy, even when he's holding a gun to a childs head or icing Carmine Falcone.

BEST SCENE OF THE BEST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. Performances from Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart, Chris Bale and Nathan Gamble (the kid) were FUCKING AMAZING This musical score playing alongside 2face spilling out his dark soul had me trembling in my seat. Cinema and acting at its very best here.

When I was watching the scene where Harvey holds Gordon's family at gun point, I was sucked in. I felt the scene, I felt for both Gordon and Harvey. And then Batman showed up and started talking and I couldn't take it seriously anymore

Although Christopher Nolan's Batman films are incredible, I believe. I think the 3rd one will be just as incredible and this will easily become the best trilogy of all time. I've always thought the older Batmans were corny, this guy finally made it right. Definitely the best of the superhero films. Love it.

@24luva I have no problems with any of them, its just some people consider them bad compared to the rest in their series, Spiderman 3 for example, I like it, but some hate it. Im the kind guy who likes certain movies alot of people will hate.

Dark Knight Rises will be amazing, to me, some people will dismiss it simply because its not as good as The Dark Knight, though Nolan has and always will suceed in making them great.

Did anyone else noticed subtle changes in Harvey's voice during this scene, sorta like he was switching between the Harvey Dent part of his psyche and the Two-Face part. Like when he says "Tell your boy it's going to be alright, Gordon. Lie. Like I lied." You hear it in the "lie" part.

Honestly? i thought Dent was a more interesting villain. Joker was amazing but he just came out of no where and was way too invincible. Aaron Eckhart put alot of emotional depth in this character from when we first see him until the end where he falls.. Every time i see that scene with him and Gordon I shit myself. No. And not just because Gordon would have learned, but rather Dent would not have had a significant-enough connection to Bruce Wayne for it to make much difference. I think the question should be: was Batman willing to show Dent his identity at all? Again, the answer is no, because it is all about the persona of The Batman towards ALL of its citizens.

That concept of Gotham's "spirit being broken, completely" by finding out about Dent's killings is just one of many the Joker had that made him one of the best characters in any film...ever. He's evil, crazy, suicidal even...but he knows his shit. His "social expiriment" may not have worked, but he made it fail-proof by opening Harvey's eyes to what the world really is. In life....if you lose all spirit...all hope, faith....you become something else....something inhuman....something chaotic.
